Ecosa Mattresses - $250 off All Mattresses (Single $549, Double $749, Queen $849, King $949)

160

Saw the deal for the Koala Mattresses 15% off and decided to share the brand I went with. Currently they have a $250 off EOFY sale which brings every single mattresss to cheaper than the Koala ones. You can also add 1.5% cashback via ShopBack which makes it even sweeter.

I spent a while on deciding between an Ecosa or a Koala and picked Ecosa for a few reasons;
A) It's made of three different layers that can be swapped around to change firmness (medium, medium-firm and firm)
B) If you decide not to keep it they donate the mattress to the Salvation Army rather than bin it
C) Waterproof cover to prevent damaging to mattress
D) Cheaper

You don't need to sign up to the newsletter to get the discount, it will automatically remove the $250 from the price when you add it to cart.

Does anyone happen to know how these compare to say a ZZZ Atelier or similar cheapie from eBay?

I have an Ecosa bed and have used many other beds before.

In general, if you want to go with a cheaper bed, I'd recommend foam over springs. Foam is simpler and there's less that can go wrong. I find cheap spring beds to be particularly nasty. If you don't like foam or prefer springs, then I'd go with a more expensive spring bed that actually has good quality springs.

According to their advert this is better than a vibrator or bible https://youtu.be/auw2IwaGGBk?t=10

That's actually a pretty good ad.

  • Im looking for a King single and its down to:

    Lazybed.com.au $400
    noasleep.com $549
    evamattress.com.au $500

I am leaning towards EVA as i do prefer some sort of spring system as opposed to something that may sag after a decade of use.

Springs sag as well - cheap ones just as much as foam.

A decade of use is the recommended lifetime for a mattress. So it's negligible if it's sags after a decade or not. But as p1 ama said springs will also sag too.

      • I've got a Dunlopillo latex mattress that is going 15 years and its still very good.

        • Ditto

        • I'm not saying they don't last but it's recommended every 7-10 years.

  • I find any mattress without springs will sleep hot, despite what the advertisements claim. At least with springs there is space for air circulation. There are several beds-in-a-box that offer composite construction with different foam layers and springs.

  • I just like the ad, whats in the top draw?
