My wife was shopping at Homebush DFO and came across the new ASICS outlet store. She said that they have a current promotion of 25% off everything in-store for ASICS members (just sign up in-store for free).
The recently superseded Gel Kayano 25 (RRP $260) was advertised at $180 less 25% was $135. Gel Kayano 24 were advertised at $150 less 25% = $112.50.
If you spend over $240.00, you also receive a good quality small ASICS duffle bag for free!
She picked up a pair of 25's for me and got herself a pair of 24's.

Thanks OP, got a few pairs myself.
They had ~4 colours of Kayano 24 and 25 respectively, in men's and women's.
They also had some wide versions (D for ladies, 2E and 4E and men's) as well but not in all colours.
The staff can be hit and miss, I asked for a particular colour/size and some guy kept bringing me the wrong shoes and said they mustn't have what I wanted in stock and walked off.
Spoke to another guy who was much better and brought me exactly what I wanted from the back in 30 seconds.
The store did only open a few days ago apparently though so maybe some staff are very new to selling shoes.
