$61 and unavaliable in all my local NSW stores.

    • Once you set a NSW store that has stock it will change to $30.

You should try Young Henry's Hemp IPA lol

      • does it taste bad as well as smelling like weed?

Previous deals had these as short expiry, buyer beware :)

That usually is not a problem for me

I think I just found the reason why you forget your socks

      • Usually not for me either, but I was trying to stockpile for my wedding and these expired beforehand. As apparent user reviews place their taste as poor when they are within their best before, I didn't want to risk it

    • dont you worry, the slab will be long gone before expired date.

    • Short expiry as the beer contains no preservatives

There's 12 slabs in the entire Sydney area. Good luck.

Barely over the minimum quantity. Not sure this needed a separate deal.

Yeah … it was touch and go. But there was at least 20+ at time of posting.

    • i got 2 slabs from Chester Hill

  • Thanks OP. I managed to get 2 of the last 3 in my local store.

    Stating $49.30 to me : (

  • non in stock for me =(

  • Got some of these when DM had clearance and I'd happily pay 30$ a slab for these, for 20.10 it's an absolute steal, just wish it was nationally stocked.

  • I usually dont buy anything less than a 4.7,but I was quite pleasantly surprised by these at only 4.2.

  • James Boags Premium Lager was one of my favourite if not #1 Aussie beer. I purchased a slab last week while i was in Sydney and was quite disappointed. It didn't have the intensity of the flavour it used to have, neither the texture(if it makes sense, texture on beer) were the same with the stuff I used to buy up until 3 months ago. I'd give it another go, however after tasting how below average this beer tasted, my expectations are quite low. I am thinking this company has gone down hill, same as Matilda Bay with the quality of Fat Yak. Nothing like the ale it was over an year ago.

    • mate! whole heartily agreed on this. but this is what happens to all small company which grows bigger and eventually don't really care about quality anymore.

    • I miss Boags Strongarm.

  • Thought i managed to grab the last one in my area. Got a pick up email, followed by an out of stock email.

  • Bought some in the last two weeks with the not so instant $10 off deal. They were all past the BB date. Early June.

I went to pick my order up today and gave the order number, the guy who served me didn't seem to know what he was doing and asked what type of beer I ordered. I said James Boag's. He brought out 2 cartons of James Boag's Premium Lager and I was happy with that.

  • This is a really nice beer, slightly milder taste than the original.

  • Is anyone able to tell me best before date as I can still order in my area .Thanks

  • Reduced further to $20@ Corowa NSW .4 slabs left.
