  • This is very good for beginners I have one. You can find good operation manual on YouTube.

    • I have zero experience in sewing. Do you think I be able to fix hems using this?

      • +1

It did for me with zero sewing skills, i used it for trimming curtains

      • +4

It depends on how you want the hems to appear. If you want a visible line of stitching, like you get on jeans and other trousers then it will do that (not sure how powerful a battery powered device would be though), if you want a hidden stitch that most other machines can do then this can't do that.

It looks like cheap and cheerful machine and may be worth it for some, but I'd generally recommend waiting for Spotlight to have one of their regular sales where you can pick up a decent basic machine for $100. Yes, about six times more expensive, but considerably more versatile.

Finding a cheap machine on Gumtree and having it serviced by your local sewing machine repair shop is a good option too.

      • ohk….

  • Decision Decision. Do I need it? Sewing Machine? …ah…

    • do it

    • i am ever sure what am i going to stitch with it.

  • Guess that was an easy purchase. $16 to sew up some hems every so often, sounds good to me.

  • dang that coffee maker already OOS

thought can combine upto $49 to save shipping

  • i decided to buy this and learn how to use it later. instead asking someone to do it for small stitching for $10.
if it doesn't work then no regret for $15 after cash back

  • Thanks OP. Ordered.
