    I always thought KPM is the professional model… vs KSM the standard ones. :(

      @quasims Yes the KPM is the professional model - bowl lift design, but has been around for a long time. They have recently released a new bowl lift model renaming it under the KSM 7581 and 7590 model.
      The bowl lift design are there professional line and tilt head are the standard line.

        hmmm…these models you mentioned above are being retailed for $880… but these models have more powerful motor and a bigger bowl. This one is similar to KSM150/160 etc.

      Thanks for the negs. I was only going by someone who has bought from Kogan recently and had an international model from Belgium shipped with an adaptor. They confirmed with KitchenAid that its a grey and not supported under local warranty.

  The one I bought from Kogan in May doesn’t appear to be a grey import and doesn’t have AU adapters. It’s the only KitchenAid product I’ve ever purchased though. Is there a way you can tell?

  I got the Aldi version on sale for $99 three years ago. Hasn't missed a beat so far (pardon the pun) and hard to justify this price for me.
