    • Aqara hub got home kit support so most new new products will as well

Thought we will get $15 on top of 65 😥.,,

    Also
“Comes with stock US/CN 2 pin plug (straight), will require an AU adapter to work.”

Thank you for stopping my impulse buy.

      • you're not kidding, needing an adapter is an automatic non purchase

        • Xiaomi power strip solves all these problems ;)

          • @Clear: i think i'm the only ozbargainer who has never purchased an xiaomi product. i probably should

    • You better off buy a better adapter as they usually come with cheap 2 pin adapters that don't usually hold correctly

  • I have two of the original version. While I love them, the quality control is lacking:

    • the lamps (which have different adjustable white warmth values (Kelvin)) are not calibrated the same, so the nominal K-value at the end of each lamp's range is different (i.e. one has warmer light than the other).

    • the DC socket on both lamps has developed a loose contact (yet to investigate) - noticeable if the lamp gets moved.

Note also that the original version loses its brightness/warmth settings if power fails (either by turning off at the wall or because of a power outage).

    • Might be the power plug adapter as I find moving my lamps that power supply gets slightly lose in the adapter

  • Over charge

    • Was going to bring that to Amazon AU as well, but it looks a little bit, how to say, "weird" when checking it out in person, not as elegant as the original Xiaomi lamp

      • Ok… I've had the original since it's release maybe 3 years ago. It's certainly sleek.

The pro model whilst not so sexy, does have a much longer arm which I need for my desk.

I just noticed, at the other end of the scale, this also looks quite nice and minimalist…

  • I think this is the same item going for $47.20 delivered with AU adapter…

    • That's the previous 300 lumen version.

OP does this new version have the same paint as the older one? Always bugged me that it was off white.

      • Unfortunately yes, it's very similar, with aluminum material and offwhite matte paint

    • +1

Might be previous model as no mention of homekit support

  • bought these from the lightning deal.. even at normal price they're worth it.

    • Not WiFi by the looks
