Good deal! I was waiting for this but went with the castrol magnatec last weekend @ 40% off.
Might have to stock up some more.

  • I'm seeing a massive hole in this deal.

    Any Xw30 oils…… Nope

    • I believe Penrite don't generally do xw30 oils. They sell it as a Xw40 with 'extra ten' technology or something like that but advising thatit's capable with Xw30 engines.

    • Their 5w40 is just as suitable for your car.

      • OK. What's my car?

        • dont know or care. but if youre chasing 5w30 then like i said 5w40 is just as good in this case :)

@navyskies: But what if my manufacturer doesn't recommend 5w40 for my engine? Will you ensure my warranty?

            • @oscargamer: On the back of the bottle it actually says, can be used in cars that require 5w30, 10w40 and 5w40. It will also have all the different specs that each manufacture has specified for their cars other than just the weight. Your manual will have a range of different weights your can can use.
Also Penrite do make 5w30, just not in the HPR range.

            • @oscargamer: Look at the back of the bottle for whether the oil meets the standards set by your manufacturer. If your engine blows up by running 5W-40 oil, you bought a shit car (try arguing that).
Reason manufacturers specify such thin oils is for eeking out that extra 0.1 L/100km efficiency.
You buying oil for your mechanic?

    • 5W-30 full syn in 10L here

      https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/penrite-penrite-enviro-e…

No idea what the differences in all their range is though. For instance if you need the GF-5 which also comes in 5W-30, it is extremely hard to find in store to take advantage of this deal. GF-5 is suited to Holden/HSV, where the one I linked is euro's like VW, Audi, Skoda etc. They also do the C3 in 5W-30 which is for Mercedes.

  • 30% off autoglym as well 👍

  • Wow. Yes please

  • Wish I knew the prices, hard to know if it's a bargain yet.

Half the current price for the 6 ones pictured.

      • Sorry, thanks for that, I was having a dumb moment. I tried searching them before on SCA website, but couldn't find them, but can now. Don't mind me!

Go buy them now and get the credit back in a few days

This is the pro tip right here, if they're likely to run out. Of course you only get it back as credit which you still have to spend there…

    • Appreciate the tip, but what do you say. Is it store policy & your rights entitlement.
Really don't want to "wear my steel cap boots" to assist with store decision making…… if it can be helped!

Use your membership card when you buy and it happens automatically. You should be buying online with a cashback site using discounted giftcards as well ;)

  • Mate was after a Rockwell Car Polisher usually $136 at SCA, bargain at 50% off, eight in stock at local store.
It's a random orbital polisher works well & pretty hard to overcut/burn the paint without being careless.
If anything a little noisy, hey but you're not paying a Rupes polisher price.
