HTC Sensation Approx $544AU (Including Shipping)

110

First post.

HTC Sensation for under 500 bucks. Non-NextG version so no good to me, but seems to be a great price. Seems to be cheaper when buying in US dollars, it has it available in Australian dollars for $524 (which is still a great price).

I believe shipping is around $US30. Should wind up being around $AU516 delivered. Not too shabby for a top of the line, new-release Android smartphone. This or the SGS2 would be king of the hill at the moment, but this seems at least $100 cheaper.

Edit; from what I am hearing the site converts the price back to the AU one at the last step (which I didnt reach because I am not buying it). Also shipping appears to be closer to $20 rather than $30. So add about 30 bucks to the overall price I originally posted. Still a great price IMO.

I wonder if there are people sitting at their computers just waiting for an opportunity to hit the negative button… and I wonder if they would do it if the votes panel showed who hit the negative button.

    • wait for NZ. they are getting the Next G compatible release next week or so

No address, no phone number, no idea on who or where "T & O Mobile" is, and a 48 hours DOA policy to boot?

    • I brought from them as did others on Whirlpool. They are legit.

Tuesday 14 June 7pm – ordered from Tando
      Friday 17 June 3pm – phone arrived

With 8GB micro sd, screen protector and power adapter.

Also I tried to buy in USD it reverts to AUD when you pay

Best deal IMO as long as you don't want to be with Telstra.

      • gray market legit or australian legit?

  • when hitting paypal it charges you 544 AUD
Not the 534 USD the cart states.

  • Lack of warranty puts me off

    • its 12 months you ship it to them in Sydney and they fedex it back to HK. I chose not to pay a $400 premium for local warranty though i know to others that means a lot.

        Where does it say that?

All i can find is "Item comes with 48 hours DOA warranty"

  • The ebay price is $598

  • I don't trust this website.

    • plenty of people have purchased from these guys on whirlpool all with good experiences.
But if you just don't trust them the next best deal on eBay is http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-HTC-Sensation-S-Z710e-8GB-Unl… $567 (and the longer you wait the cheaper it gets, this seller routinely lowers the price a couple of times every week another couple of months it'll be cheaper than it is at Tandoo but by then a newer better phone will be out.

    • as above, brought from them no issues and very happy with the service. FedEx tracking updated the whole way, threw in an Australian power adapter and screen protector for free.
