48x 100g Dove Soap (Classic Dove) $29 + Delivery (Price Ranges in Description) [SOLD OUT]

380

Similar to previously popular pricing http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/16027 (but cheaper, obviously you're buying more).

Delivery price postcode examples:
2000 - $7.45 ($0.76/100g)
2333 - $12.70 ($0.87/100g)
3000 - $10.90 ($0.84/100g)
4000 - $10.90 ($0.84/100g)
6000 - $17.55 ($0.97/100g)
0800 (most exp) - $25.30 ($1.14/100g)

Dove soap (beauty bar or whatever you want to call it) is good stuff. The packaging is foreignish but the product is exactly the same (German made, same ingredients etc). "Expiry" is Oct 2013. I find that a bar for one person lasts about 2 weeks myself, which is 96 weeks, which would mean even on your own you'd use it before the expiry.

EDIT: I almost forgot! For those of you waiting, those $198 golf clubs are available from Midday tomorrow again. I only mention this because a few of you were hanging out for them, and I've been bad and posted twice in the last week already. If this is advertising or something that breaches the rules feel free to hit me on the back of the head and remove the reference.

EDIT2: Sorry about the early sell out guys. I've let the buyers know, there may (MAY) be an ability to make this happen again. I'll get back to you in the comments below

As always, any questions feel free to go crazy. Product or site related crazy. I figured after eating all that chocolate and wearing socks all day you probably all smell terrible :P

Great deal, I know a butch dude shouldn't be saying this but I really like the Dove 'soap' (I'm still not metro enough to call it a 'beauty bar')! :)

    • +5

"It's not perfume oztrez, it's fragrance"
"It's not soap oztrez, it's a beauty bar"
"It's not makeup oztrez, it's cosmetics"

LOL. Sometimes I think I'm a little too honest to work in retail.

    • +4

Who calls "soap" beauty bar anyways?

I will punch the next person who calls soap beauty bar, Any toiletry product in bar form that you wash yourself with is going to be called soap, no matter what you say or do

      • +7

Have you been paying no attention to the ads, it's because:

it won't dry your skin like soap can

        • +4

and I can't believe its butter :P oh yeah and fat-free food will never make you fat…

        • +5

I always laughed at those ads. It felt like they were trying to say "Soap sucks. You'd have to be stupid to buy soap it makes your skin dry. Buy this instead and you won't be stupid"

        • +4

Haha of course, and the heart foundation tick means you can eat as much as you can stuff yourself with no problemo. And don't forget the maybelline commercial:

Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's gangrene

        • I watched the ads but what I meant to say what who IRL says that

" Oh Honey before you make my sandwich, please get me my beauty bar "
          sexism not applicable

  • +1

I wish it was the exfoliating one

    • +16

      Push really, really hard?

    • +5

maybe drop the wet soap on sand before you shower? :)

    • +1

Edit: Oops, same idea as above.

  • +1

    thanks.

      Our pleasure!

Just to avoid any confusion, the postcode '2000' does not represent all 2000's. Seems obvious I know, but for me postage was $12.70 to p/c 23xx.

    Otherwise good deal.

BTW, how does soap go off? Granted it goes a bit harder which actually prolongs its life, but I didn't think it went bad? Or is this one special because its a 'beauty bar' ?

    • Sorry happy I was trying to give a rough idea of value, I'll update to give a better description.

In relation to the expiry, Dove has animal tallow (fancy term for fat) in it. It's organic, and it can technically go off.

      • +1

Eww. I've changed my mind, I don't want to know now.

        • +2

          wipes your mind

All soap is made from fat. It's just that Dove leaves some actual fat in it that hasn't been saponified. Thanks Wikipedia I'm going to seem really smart when I answer this why am I still typing

Just some feedback re: HNBigBuys. Awesome. Very happy with the service, delivery, the goods, etc. I have bought quite a bit from them in the last month and am very happy.

Yes i did the sox & chocs deal but there are no smell issues cause i just keep putting on another pair of sox over the top of the smelly pair. 2 EZ!

May I just say… What is going on with this deal?

    http://www.harveynormanbigbuys.com.au/BuyDetailsPage.aspx?it…

Are people really buying this stuff for their pets. Tell these pets to harden up for goodness sake. Maybe this is for the new metro cats who can't get by without their fragrant, cosmetic, beauty bars? What's next? Manicure sets for horses?

    • +1

Stoked about the feedback thanks Rebel! Yes people are buying this for their pets, our buyers have just sourced some horse manicure sets based on your feedback. Great idea! ;P
