Many Thanks OP - picked up 2.

  • Nice. A great entry price point and a big departure from the usual Lamy models that are posted here.

  • is it a good pen?

Yeah, it isn’t too bad. Nice weight and it writes smoothly.

  • haven’t used fountain pens in decades but tempted with this offer. do they still have to be refilled via an ink bottle or have they come up with some clever way to do this without creating a big mess at the end?

    • You can either fill from an ink bottle, or most pens these days (including this one) can use ink cartridges. It's not quite as easy as grabbing a new biro, but it's pretty simple. Just pull out the old cartridge, push in the new one, and away you go.

They have a decent price on cartridges too at the moment.

    • Depends on whether you want a bigger range of colours or not. Cartridges can be limited, bottled ink is limitless (I've posted before about the awesome range of locally-made Robert Oster inks). If you're careful enough even a converter can generally be used without making a mess, if you're hard-core then you just buy yourself a syringe with a blunt needle (ask for a 'drawing needle' at your local chemist) and refill the cartridge. That way you can have All The Inks! I should, at this point, make a note that it's always wise to flush your pen when changing colours.

Don't need it. Bought one. Thank you :)

  • OW website says out of stock in store, but can C&C within a day. Not sure if this is just my browser or just to prevent people to check stores' stock. My question, how do you price match in OW if it is a Click and Collect?

    • +1

Just find a store that has some and say "Yo, I'd like to price match this please. Here's how much they have it for. Yeah there's stock, here's proof."

  • Picked up one. Thanks OP!

  • The Amazon link says 44$

    • Must have changed since I posted it.

  • Thanks OP. Any deals on a converter for this pen now? :)

The violet pen still appears to be in stock. https://www.petersofkensington.com.au/Public/Parker-Urban-Pr…

Sadly Officeworks doesn't have the Premiums though, so you can't price match this one.

      • The original sold out quick enough that not many people were able to price match anyway, and even at $20 plus shipping this is a great pen. And still available! :)

        • And it's gone!

  • Shows $44 for me on Amazon? 2 left
