Fractal Design - No Stock Anywhere!

This is probably just me having a rant.

I've been trying to get myself a Fractal Design Case and it seems they are not in stock anywhere. Umart my local literally has one Fractal case listed on their website as being in stock, every other case is out of stock.

Its not economical to ship it coz of the prices, but what is the deal with Fractal Design being the white whale of cases.

The same thing happened when I built my last PC, I wanted a Fractal case again, and couldn't get it because it was never in stock.

Anyone have any success stories of ever getting a Fractal Design case from Umart. I know the answer will be "What did Umart say" and I asked them and they basically said "just wait longer"

Should I just give up and again settle for something that's probably worse.

I need an alternative for a Fractal Design Define Mini C Tempered Glass - Listed as $119 at Umart so nothing more than that. Any ideas please?

    I got the last Define Mini C from Mwave about 5 months ago, they haven't restocked since.

    You should look at the NZXT cases if you want a similar design aesthethic, for e.g NZXT H400 / H500 perhaps.

      That H400 looks pretty nice, I might have to go down that path and see if I can track down a special somewhere.

      Yeah but the $50 bucks shipping is the killer. Not worth it if the shipping is like 40% of the price of the case.

    If you're not willing to look at delivery options, you're limiting yourself to only your local shops.

    But yeah, I love Fractal Design cases, but they're still a bit of a niche, premium product.

      Yeah I think its just frustrating when you see vids on youtube and in the US they have an abundance of them in all shapes and sizes.

      The AUS computer market really does suck :P

        You're comparing a Australasia geography of around 20-30 Million potential consumers,
        to one with around 350-400 Million potential consumers in North America,
        and 1 Billion potential consumers in Continental Europe.

    Fractal always came across as looking cheap to me, I know they are good quality and have seen some reviews. It's the glossy finish and the silver feet on their cases that put me off them.

    I have always used Corsair cases as I love the matt black steel look, have the 900D currently and looking at either the 1000D or the Thermaltake P7 for something completely different.

    Just waiting on stock and the right motherboard for the new Ryzen chips.

    Listed as $119 at Umart so nothing more than that.

    Why though? Seems to be easy enough to find for around $160 shipped. $41 or so to have the computer look how you want seems a relatively small price to pay

    I think fractal design is leaving the australian market, look for 2nd hand maybe.

    The coolermaster masterbox nr400 or the m-atx version of the h500 (h400?) from NZXT are probably your best/only real options.

    Probably for the best you had to look for alternatives. Fractal cases seem to be pretty overpriced here.

    I have been looking for a Meshify C White for ages… I did check Umart's website yesterday though and their ETA for new stock is listed as 22/08/19, so there may still be hope for more stock then.

    EDIT: Just checked their site again today and the date is now 23/08/19, so maybe the date is just false hope…
