[Pre Order] Dewalt DCG406P1-XE 18V 5.0ah Li-Ion Cordless Brushless 125mm Angle Grinder Combo $199 Delivered @ Sydney Tools

200

I believe this is an Australia wide promo by Dewalt that runs over the next weekend so should be available from any Dewalt stockist. Some places are taking pre-orders, such as the above link as well as Total Tools.

$199.00 for a brushless 125mm grinder kit is $50-100 less than Dewalt's as well as most other major brands bare brushless grinders.

Although I use Milwaukee and Makita personally, its pricing like this that sometimes makes me think I should have gone Dewalt! They definitely have the more frequent sharper deals.

There is also a similar deal for a brushless line trimmer.

  • Damn, that's real good. I just spent $230 ok the brushless Ryobi skin only…

All tool stores have this deal. I picked one up at tradetools store today.

  • Try to stay clear from buying tools from Sydney tools they have really bad after sales service.

    • I think it may depend on the store. I have had no issues with Fyshwick, Canberra. Last warranty took three days for a cordless tool and was replaced rather than repaired.

Prior to that I had two warranty issues with another tool shop that took 8 weeks to sort out for one and 7 for the other. Both of which were replaced. All tools from the same brand.

    • Buy Dewalt and you won't need it ;)

$269 for the line trimmer kit at Bunnings. $21 more than the skin only! Tempting…

    • Recommended - great kit.

  • Hey everyone,

Does any one know how often the DeWALT 18V / 54V 5 Piece Cordless Combo Kit go on sale? Or the likely hood of them popping up on the black and yellow sale?

Generally the Dewalt promos with major discounts are single tool kits like these. They happen about every 3 months. Dewalt also have frequent 'spend500 get 100 credit/spend 2000 get 500 credit etc' every few months as well. Dewalt are by far the most proactive tool company with discount deals and instore promos.

The best bet for you would be to subscribe to a couple of the bigger tool shops email newsletters and wait til one of these sales happens. Suggestions would be to sign up to Sydney Tools, Total Tools, Just Tools, Get Tools Direct etc. There are many others so if you have a preference sign up with them.

      • Thanks heaps revheadgl. I’ll subscribe and keep a good look out

        • Cheers, happy to help.

  • Got the same deal from tradetools today. https://www.tradetools.com/product-range/cordless-tools/indi…
