Similar to this deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/478009) although slightly more expensive, however free express shipping is included with this deal, & you receive a guaranteed delivery date so you know when you'll receive the item - in my case, I'll be getting it far sooner than the worst-case scenario date of arrival I received when I checked out the other deal (Friday, August 23 guaranteed from mobileciti_estore, vs. sometime between Thursday, 22 August to Tuesday, 27 August from Sydney Mobiles). I'm kind of in a hurry - my Motorola G5+ gave up the ghost yesterday & I'm phoneless, so it worked out worth the extra $ so I can have a phone again as soon as possible. As always, your mileage may vary. ;)

Don't forget that you can get 5% cashback using the shopback app up to $10 max for this purchase too.

Just wondering what happened to your Moto G5+ for it to give up the ghost. Mine still works well but have been using different phone for a while and that as back up.

I'm still not sure of what happened myself… & nor is anyone on XDADevelopers, or at least, no-one's answered my request for help there yet: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/unmodded-moto-g… . It was running really slow earlier on that day, then all of a sudden I noticed it was showing a weird message, kinda like the bootloader screen, but a little different, saying it had failed to boot.

  • Bought mine Saturday with the original POSTIE deal from Sydney Mobiles, with $9.80 express post. Just got a text from AusPost that it's awaiting collection. It's a day late :)

Claim the postage guarantee refund via the sender.

      • According to seller AusPost guarantee is 2 days…not a biggie. Great phone though for just over $400.

  • Yep.. Sydney mobiles does express post as well. I'm not sure this deal really adds anything other than the guaranteed delivery date.

Not worth it imo since 9 times out of 10 it's going to show up on the same day from either seller, OR it's just entirely in AusPost's highly unreliable hands.

    • it's Auspost most of the time, holding it a day before posting

      • Got a notification a couple of hours ago that it should arrive tomorrow, instead of Friday, & I'm in awe - maybe AusPost is stepping up their game!
