    What exactly is "B Stock"?

  • +1

OP, can you please clarify on what B stock means as it seems to be anything from a refurb to factory seconds? Thanks.

  • Also how many units are roughly available?

  • B-Stock usually means it's a product returned by a customer.

    • And also factory seconds I’m pretty sure

      • Could be demo too, why'd they post the deal on the one day you can't call the store to ask lol

Hmmmmm second hand headphones for that amount… there are certain things I'd just steer away from…

    • +1

They are resealed as new units with full warranty.

      • So are these returned shortly after purchase, or do they have cosmetic defects etc?
Also how long is the warranty?

Focal home audio is a rip off in this country. This is due to the distributor who has set ridiculous prices in Oz.

Funny enough focal car audio speakers are fairly reasonably priced. From my understanding (and I could be wrong) they are sold by a different Aussie distributor

    • You're right the prices keep jumping all over the place, it's gone from 1599 to 999 to 699 and now they're 1399 again

i heard it was because of excess stock. The store sells and gets some rebate from the distributor, because apparently that less than their buy price.

The bets one was the Utopia for $2999, when it retails for $5500. You would use it and still sell for the price you paid after some years of use.

        • +1

yeah saw someone sell a utopia for 3k very recently and it went in a day or two

    • Most of the prices are actually very competitive!

    • I've two pairs of Focal in my car and also a Focal amp and got them for reasonably prices. So, you are maybe right with your assumption. Suoerb brand. I truly believe their products are worth the asking price.

Really would love to have one of these headphones but just bought all of my PC components and just waiting delivery. Lousy timing indeed.

  • Prices don't seem to reflect those stated in the deal, they're still at original pricing? Sold out already, or simply not setup properly?

You need to apply the codes…

      • Ah yes, total reading fail. Thanks!

  • Thanks OP. Just bought the Elegia

  • Created an account to thank you guys. Awesome find. I was at addictedtoaudio shop yesterday and had a go at the Elear and the Clear. I was mesmerised (that's right) by the sound and was on the fence on whether to dish out $1.4k for the Clear. They are good but I would have to eat ramen for some months.

The Elear are as good and at $600 they are a bargain. I had a call with Addicted to audio who told me that the B Stock are the ones where the box has been open. Well there are 2 years warranty.

  • I'm a bit late to this party but it seems this deal is no longer active. The code for the Elegia doesn't work.

  • Picked up Elear A stock for $669 today. Magnifcient, first high end cans I have purchased that sound great out of the box. Most others I have needed at least 30 hours burn in to start sounding good. If these keep getting better, I won't stop smiling.
