  • Inspiron 15R - $688 (free shipping)

    CPU - i3-2310M (slower CPU)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M - 1GB (faster GPU)
500GB 7200RPM Hard Drive (faster hard drive, but slightly smaller)
Bluetooth 3.0 and Wireless N (same)

Remove the essential help option (No thanks) to reduce the price from $699 to $688.

I can't say if this is better bang for buck, since the CPU is slower but to make up for it, it has a 7200RPM drive as well as a middle end Geforce 525m. If the laptop was purely for gaming only then I'd say the dell would be a better pick.

    Here's a comparison of the 2 GPU's

    • thanks for that..
Was looking at that as well..
Got cold feet when i saw everyone complaining about the keyboard.. Though i dont think it is that bad personally.
For me i an keener on the samsung… I need it more for work/photo editing/business management and less for gaming.
