  • wow QC up to version 4 now…..

  • 63g weight. That's really good.. close to GaN charging levels.

Any 60w+ PD versions anyone can recommend in a similar form factor? All the ones I've seen aren't available in an AU plug.

S10 still better for USB C PD.

    • S10 is not PD.

Edit: sorry it is PD indeed.

        Yes, it is.

    • Sorry I’m confused by your statement - isn’t this also PD?

      • +1

Technically, S10 supports up to 20V/1.5A, while s12 supports up to 20V/1.35A USB PD.

For me, most phones with USB PD use up to 9V/3A, both S10 & S12 will do, and S10 is cheaper than S12.

    • You'll be limited to 18W though. Their 25W charging will require USB-PD 3.0 with PPS and an e-marked USB-C cable.

  • Hmm can’t see major difference between S10 and S12 other than 3w and support of new QC model? Pre/order discount makes this more attractive I guess but a little confused…

    • USB-PD in the S12 is a slight downgrade compared to the S10 but the only other difference is QC4+, so this is a better choice for those with phones that use it.

      • Hmm so my intent is to use it now for iPhone XS, Nintendo Switch and in future MacBook Pro - which are all non QC devices.

Does that mean the S10 is a better choice?

        • Yeah S10 will be the best.

          • @Clear: The S12 looks like its mostly about size/weight. The S10 is 100g, the S12 is 63g.

In comparison the new Anker 30W GaN Atom 1 charger is 61g, but costs $22 USD. And thats pretty much the cheapest GaN charger in the market.

            • @Thrawn: But the Anker only comes with US plugs? :(

  • Pretty good deal with K20/pro.

  • 27W with single port doesn't sound too hot….can't even charge any laptop properly…

    • I charge a high end Lenovo 720 13" laptop fine with 24W PD. Not as fast as the stock 45W charger of course.. but it does still charge whilst the laptop is being used.

About time a company releases a QC4+ charger with an AU plug. Especially since it's backwards compatible with USB-PD :)

  • can this charge surface pro 3??
