    50% Audible for 4 Months

So the rest of if is inaudible?

Am I hearing you right ?

    • Good thing they used a capital letter to state that Audible is a proper noun or it would have been real confusing.

    • +1

No it means you can only hear half of it for 4 months. Your choice of left ear or right ear.

just subscribe Amazon prime instead. More benefit, cheaper $7/m or $54/y

    • +4

I dont think Prime include Audible.

      • +1

oh ye, sorry i thought Prime read is audible..

        • No worries, that confused me the first time when I got Prime but cannot access to Audible. I hope one day Amazon can combine Prime, Kindle unlimited and Audible with a reasonable price.

    • -1

I don't understand. You don't get audible with Amazon Prime. Audible is owned by Amazon but there is no benefit to having Prime.

      • but there is no benefit to having Prime.

Yes there is, free postage and Amazon Prime video…

I just went to cancel my 3 month Audible trial from Prime and I was offered another 3 months at $8 per month, a free credit, or something else that I can't recall. I took the extra credit, and I'll still cancel before I'm charged again anyway.

    • +1

something else that I can't recall.

      steak knives ?

    • Yeah. The free credit always happens after your first cancel. I may have made a second audible account a while back just to claim 3 free months and the 1 free cancel credit

    • I have had that too… they will send you the $8 return offer a few times as well seems to be 3-4 months after you cancel.
I've taken it up and cancelled a couple of times - I buy super long books and cancelled again - since I go through them so slowly… 3 months later I just got a come back for $2 offer.. so a new $2 audio book for me.

    • Thanks I just did this myself. I like audible its just so darn expensive through

    • Cancel again, hit too expensive and it will offer the $8/m again.

I’ve done this multiple times across two accounts and have never paid full price for audible.

      • I redeemed my extra free credit, then went through with cancelling (selected too expensive). A few days later, they emailed me saying "It's been a while since we last saw you, and a lot has changed" and offered me another 1 month trial. That's a total of 5 credits so far without paying a cent.

        • Strangely, I just got the same email to my work address that's never had an Audible account. It's had a Amazon (non Prime) account only.

  • It's 45% off not 50%

LOL you're right, except I just copypasta the page, bro. Not my fault that Amazon can't math.
