  • Yes, VitalSleep is FDA-cleared for the reduction of snoring as stated in the posting.

    • So you are saying should avoid this product as it is not FDA approved?

      ie "benefits of the product outweigh the known risks for the intended use."

      • Hi. We are stating that VitalSleep is FDA-cleared for the reduction of snoring. It is not an FDA-approved product like medications, drugs and other devices are.

  • Put price in title as per OzBargain requirements.

    Website says men's version is US$69.95 on special, so end price is US$54.95? Google says that is about AU$82, seems rather expensive when I can buy hot-water-mouldable mouthguards for under AU$10. Not the same thing, but the manufacturing costs can't be that dissimilar.

    • Yes, there are other mouthpieces available for AU $10 that can be molded.

    A totally BS product that is so uncomfortable. Maybe rhis is a revised one but i wasted my idiotic senseless act to try this a couple of years ago.. Ended up binning them..u had to put them in hot water to mold into ur mouth and micro adjust using these dodgy plastic screws.

    Youve been forewarned.

    • We are sorry that it was uncomfortable for you. Since there are only 2 sizes, it will fit the majority of users and not all users. We understand this and provide a money-back guarantee if it does not fit. The product has been updated since a couple of years ago.

        I did not bother returning as it required us to pay for shipping which i remember it was quite significant.

        Plus it did not work at all. I unfortunately bought the special 2 units… Most wasteful money spent.

    If you have a snoring problem, it can sometimes be due to Obstructive Sleep Apnoea.

    Best get a referral to a sleep physician who will recommend the best treatment.

    The best treatment may not be an oral device but if you need one then it's best to get it professionally made.

    Why cheap out on your own health?

    • That is true. VitalSleep is for snoring. If you have OSA please speak to a doctor. Professional devices made by dentists and doctors are available too.

      • What other than osa causes snoring?
        And how does your device cure this?

        • Snoring can be because of many things:
          * Positional
          * Nasal Congestion
          * Overweight (can be part of OSA as well)
          * Alcohol

          I would like to rule out or determine the cause of the snoring before choosing the treatment otherwise it's like putting the cart before the horse.
