  • Meh.

  • 2 things

    1. This is the Element model. Has been at this price for more than a month. This is a normal price, not sale price.
    2. it's USB 2

    so meh!

  • For the HP printer, which is inkjet. It is refillable and doesn't need the chip to still work. After you refill the cartridges it will just asks if you have replaced any of the inks, you then touch 'yes' then it will let u print as normal, but the ink gauge in the hp software for the printer will show empty. =)

    • Is that not the same case with pretty much any inkjet cartridge?

      • Not really, i know that foreEpsons some actually need chip-re-setters. Some canons (under or around 100) use the tr-color ink cartridge that has the print heads on the cartridge. So for those canons it is harder to use it on refills since when the ink dries, the print head gets clogged, so you end up replacing them more even if you use them on refills. Whilst for this hp, it uses separate color ink cartridges without print-heads on it. So its easier to use on refills, and you don't need to go through the trouble to damaged or clogged print heads more often.

  • maybe not with all Canons. After using LEXMARK x1185 for more than 2 years n refilling so many times, I bought Canon M250 with $39 from Officeworks. I've been happily refilling for a while now, again n again with INK-MAN I brought with me from overseas. And as I'm an IELTS teacher, I print papers of around 200-300 sheets per week.
with 1 refill pack which cost around $4 (converted from my currency), I can print at least 1200 sheets, whereas I would have to pay at least $100 if I had no choice other than buying new cartridges. sorry for the long post. I thought I got a chance to let ozbargain members know there's a much cheaper option to print. I know a lot of people don't know how cheap it is to refill. This is of course for people who print more like me.
I know it's irrelevant, does anyone know if I can buy those cheap INKMAN refills here, that I brought from Bangladesh? I'm nearly running out of them.

  • Again, it's 1200 sheets meaning 2400 pages. yes, I know what I'm saying. I love refills. And I love'm who invented them.
