  Not to the extent Wii did. But it will change some things

  The wii whilst lacking a 'gamer' catalogue and obvious processing inferiority was great because it was great for families.

  The Wii U has a controller that looks like its going to hundreds of dollars. There is no way in hell I would trust that controller with anyone who I knew couldn't pay me if they broke it, let alone a 6 year old.

  Based on what I have seen, I wouldn't touch the wii-u with a 10 foot pole.

  As to whether it will revolutionize gaming, I would say it will revolutionise gaming less than the Wii, and apart from changing control input, the wii has done bugger all in terms of a revolution.

  The PS Vita will bring the concept of moving handheld gaming to console gaming interchangeably by a good year. I am secretly hoping the Wii U is an inside joke.

    I say you are way off. EB games are usually market standard with their pre orders. EB aren't some small player worldwide who take guesses, they are a large division of gamestop. Considering that they price match their pre orders anyway, theres little incentive for them to inflate prices.

    price wise, they don't get you on the consoles, they get you on the games.

      i Agree with Modokun, they've got it pre order for $598 so that would be pretty close to the launch price. Once its out for a while then expect a price drop but all consoles are pricey when they're launched.

  RRP will be $449.95 or $549.95

  By what I have read it might be more powerfull then the rest untill the PS4 etc comes out.

  Heard that online games will be better and more of them

  Also read that its for hardcore games too with games that are on the PS3 & 360 going to the Wii U

  Going to be fantastic, I will be getting one :)

  Yeah it'll have equal if not better graphic capabilities than the PS3/360.

  Yes. It's being specifically designed to be suitable for hardcore gamers aswell as casual gamers.
  I'd say it's more hardcore than casual, but Nintendo want to keep the casual Wii users.
  Watch this video, 2 minutes in there's some demos of more hardcore titles.

  Yeah it'll be similar to playing the 3DS, with the top screen being the main one you'll be looking at and the bottom screen with controls and menus.

  Good question.
  I'm not too sure, it's probably debatable.
  I'd say it has the potential to revolutionize gaming with it's fancy controller.
  but it may just only make the games easier to play.

  I'd be waiting until Nintendo give us more information until we answer any questions. From what I've read Nintendo are reconsidering some factors of the Wii U. Wait until E3 next year to know for sure.
