Star Wars – The Force Unleashed II, omg that was such a bad game. I managed to beat it and now the game is my cup holder.

    • They cant all be as good as KOTOR was.

  • the force unleashed II is only available to the first 200 pre orders according to the website

Meh, looks alright. Got much better things to buy for $600, but that isn't to say that for some people this might be a good deal. And jackbob, you get a media player to play MKV files. Consoles aren't ideal for playing any video formats.

this is not a great deal but good looking console

    • Actually this thing is fugly like…

…well Im not going to say. Its just pure ugly.

  • im giving this a postive, because i just want one regardless lol, plus its the better pre order price by a game and $1

Damn, bit expensive for an xbox eh?

  • R2-D2 themed with custom sounds.
If it was shaped like R2-D2 I'd seriously consider it just for the annoyance factor.

  • wow 162 day wait by that time, 360's will be $300-350 with kinect

  • Save $2.00 =Not a bargain =neg from me!

    • Force Unleashed 2 isn't included as standard. Not a good game (at all), but still free. Therefore a bargain.

  • The only way you will get your money out of this is if you keep it in the box and sell it in 5 or more years to an avid star wars fan, Same with all "special edition" consoles.

  • -double post-

  • i want this. but not for that much money!

  • Meh, Kinect sucks. If I tried any Kinect-based Jedi moves in my cramped room I would probably end up 'force pushing' my monitor or xbox console into pieces on the floor.

    • you know your supposed to make sure you standout to the camera and make sure youve got enough space to move around, its not the greatest tech, but its a big improvement on the wii and its a bit of fun, im just waiting for the voice recognition to kick in, over here, dont really want to tinker with the console settings to get around it

      • Yeah they could have left the voice command feature on and simply instructed everyone to speak with an american twang. That would have made using it even more fun.

Wii is still better for batting and racquet games though as it gives you that physical object to hold, which rumbles upon object-striking, and even makes the impact noises - albeit from a crappy-soounding speaker. But it's definitely more realistic that pretending to hold a bat.

        Kinect wins on dancing games.

        • So any future voice recognition features would need to be localised for our accents and manner of speaking?
The automated telephone-based systems work remarkably well at understanding my voice, even if i try supremely hard to alter my pitch or intonation.

  • I'd…. buy this for the console. But since I already have a fully-working 360, I won't like it. Would probably sell the Kinect + games.
