Better buy yourself one of those $3.40 moving bags. Can’t imagine you carrying all that in one swoop

  • Damn, I thought I got them for 50cents a few months ago is already cheap enough, cant imagine it can go even lower…. 8)

The wife would love me to use that soft focus filter on her when I take her photo

It was unseasonally foggy in Bunnings Belrose yesterday.

      • +3

It was raining so had to BBQ the sausages indoor.

Tape the lens for the desired filter

This is my standard shot thanks to broken camera glass that let some crap in.

    • With everything being IP-whatever these days a bit of "lens adjustment" won't hurt

    anyone know if it's nationwide

    • Price varying. WA has 2 in stock at two stores. Only store with stock can't find them. - My experience anyway.

We had these at work. They do the job, 70% of the time.

Thanks for the feedback. I have the 3M one at work, and it is bloody brilliant; luckily the boss pays for it and not me.

You're comment is making excited about Tape guns.. what the..

        • +1 for 3M branded ones. Used quite a few other brands before but nothing comes close. There's something about the 3M one that just works.

          • +2

@nickxau: Agree. 3M are the masters of tape. lol. Doesn't matter what type; masking, packing, etc it is top quality. It's always tempting to get the cheap and nasty tapes due to price, but the 3M stuff saves so many headaches.

            • @Charity: do you have a pic or link to the 3M one you recommend? thanks

70% of the time they work every time!

      • I'm gonna be honest, that smells like pure gasoline.

        • That's the smell of desire m'lady!

I’ve joined this site just to comment on this one…. Don’t be fooled, you’ll be wasting your 15c. Worst tape dispenser I’ve ever used, and I’ve packed a lot of boxes. Tape roll constantly falls off. I bought a few when they were $2 each. They’ve all been sent off to a better place now.

      may they rest in pieces

Ta. I don't know about this model - I didn't get one. But yes, a falling off tape roll is a PITA second only to a gun that rips the tape at the wrong spot. However it's an easy fix: just wrap some tape around the wheel till it's a snug fit in the roll.

So i need a second gun to fix the first one?

        • +3

          Just like opening scissors

          • +1

@Matt86: We bought a paring knife, a while back, from a supermarket so we could use to cut up some food whilst we were on the road. The problem was we needed something sharp to cut the retainer cable tie on the packaging. It was beginning to look like the old woman who swallowed a fly time. Fortunately they had some unattended scissors on their enquiries counter so we managed to get ourselves out of the perpetual loop.

I was about to say the same thing. Pretty simple fix.

You can also just put a few rubber bands around the spindle, makes it a bit larger and more grippy.

        • Compared to this….Rubber bands are exprnsive…

  • How much the cost of the tapes.
