Love these torches and easy to farm batteries from old laptops etc. Due to the dollar I am not seeing many great deals on these of late. Not the best for the torch in history but haven't seen a Purple one this cheap.

Mine is the Thorfire BLF Q8.
It allegedly outputs 5000 lumens with the right batteries and dims to any level. It's 60-70 bucks on a good day other than a crazy $38 deal which may have been a price error.
Yeah that's a bit hardcore for me. Lol
Am looking for something smaller and less 'blinding', similar size to the op's postThe BLF A6. It’s cheap, small, runs from very dim right up to eyeball searing and is well built. Interesting to read how the BLF guys designed it.
The Convoy S2 are a great gateway torch! Highly recommend at US$10 - nothing compares at this price point I'd go as far to say. Excellent light/quality. A great everyday EDC (every day carry) light. It's a "flood" light (every direction) as opposed to a "throw" light (spotlights the distance). So a cheap-but-good "throw" light would be the Convoy C8 (Astrolux also make a C8) for usually around US$16-20.
The Convoy S2 is a built-to-a-lower-cost version (cheaper emitter and electronics) of the BLF A6 (Budget Light Forum - a group of passionates that designed and contract build lights).
Here's a black S2 for about the same price:

Thanks man!
I read this as fleshlight.
this guy Ozbargains
Any good ones?
You can use this a fleshlight..
but haven't seen a Purple one this cheap.
I see green/teal?
Link good to purple one
sames ..perhaps staring in to the 5000 lumens too long?
New to torches. Read this and it doesn't come with batteries. Any recommendations?
Well worth gutting faulty cordless power tool battery packs, or laptop packs, for their 18650 cells. Most cells will still be fine and you have loads of spare batteries too. You can buy new big brand cells too if you want maximum amp hours.
Thanks!
coming up with "coupon expired" for me
Thanks OP. What would be your ideal torch, within reasonable cost of course)? I'm looking to update my old torches
