  • Good Find, Big fan of Groupon.

How does that work? Is it only once per customer? Or can I buy 2 lots of stuff over $70 and get $25 credit each.

    • I'm wondering too

    • Unlimited redemptions per customer (across separate transactions).

  • Dam it I used shopback for my purchase

    • The code is not listed on their site so it won’t be honoured anyways even if you used cash rewards

      • The code is listed on their main page and the offer is showing here (just not the coupon specifically), so I'm sure it'd be fine.

Haven’t used Groupon Credit before, will that just be loaded to your Groupon account and when you buy something you can use that credit and pay the rest with paypal?
Also, will you be able to use future coupons with that $25 credit?

    • +1

      Yes. Yes.

Edit: Another user below mentions that you won't be able to get cashback when using credit. This might be important to you if you want to take advantage of the regular cashback increases.

      • Also previous experience was you cant use both the credit and a coupon as the credit came back as a coupon. But i am not sure about this deal. From my own experience, it was another way of labelling a % discount coupon. And it requires you to make purchases twice as opposed to % discount coupons where its only 1 purchase required. But the $ credit back is usually higher amounts . so it may even out in the end.

        • my credits were always auto applied with another coupon use.
You need GETBUCKS to get the credits, but credits is Groupon money.

          • @Jamesx: Theres normal credits that you get as groupon refunds or voucher issues etc, and then the credits i got for this kind of groupon deal in the past wasnt given as groupon credits but as a $10 groupon coupon once i made the purchase.

            • +1

@lonewolf: This one would be normal groupon credit, valid for 30 days. Did it on previous promo (was same code, lol). Cashback still worked fine, but I think only on the remaining balance u actually paid outside the credit (say u buy $49 deal, and used this $15, cashback is only for the $34 u paid)

      • You should be able to still get CB as the coupon is listed on CRs site. Read the t&cs on CR.

Getting an error "Sorry, this code can’t be applied. This order does not meet the minimum purchase price of $50.00—check the code’s rules."

    • Is the item more than $30 without postage?

    • I had this earlier, but realised I mistyped the coupon code. Worked when I typed it correctly.

    • +1

I am having this too! I am buying 2x $20 item, so the total is $40, but I have $10 credit which automatically applied, so the total is $30. But I got "Sorry, this code can’t be applied. This order does not meet the minimum purchase price of $50.00—check the code’s rules."

After trying out the codes on a few deals, I got the gist of it: You can apply the code on a deal that cost minimum $30 EACH, excludes postage. Even if you buy multiple quantities, if the deal is for something that's $30 less EACH, it won't let you apply.

Got stung with groupon credits before, u don't earn cash back when u use it as payment method. Cost me a 20% cash back :(

    • Do they track and get declined or not track at all? Have made a few purchases using credit so this is a big bummer if they all end up being declined.

      • +1

My experience was they sometimes track and sometimes dont track, but even when they track, 3 months later or whatever they are declined but of course i usually dont check that , so like several months later when i look at the history i see all these declines and so the cashbacks i thought i would be getting when i make the purchase i never ended up getting….

        • Update made a few purchases from 13-15 nov using Groupon credits due to refunds and all have been approved Pending withdrawal.

Guys watch out for this credit business, Because the problem is you then need to spend a minimum amount to use the credits. So really it basically forces you to spend another specificed amount to get the credit used. As in last couple of times i did this, i got $10 back as credit but then had to spend $40 or $50 to use the $10 credit and you cant use it on certain deals / restaurants etc or it might have been because you cant stack up deals to get over the minimum amount. The one voucher has to exceed that $50 to use the $10 credit…. Plus i think the credit came back as a coupon, so you can only use the credit coupon or one of the other coupons

    • Good point. I clicked through, doesn't tell you the T&Cs of the credit whether there is a minimum spend.

I had credits through previous deals, spent any amount and got $10 etc.
my credits were always auto applied with another coupon use, no minimum spend required at all. You can chat with reps and confirm that yourself.
You need GETBUCKS to get the credits, but credits is Groupon money, same as gift voucher I believe.

      • I have had groupon credits from refunds and stuff but that was different from previous groupon deals like this which was given back to me as groupon $10 coupon. But it may have just been that deal, unsure about this one.

      • Yes Jamesx that is how it was for me after a similar credit deal.

    • I had an issue and contacted them. They said these credits have no other t&cs despite being valid for 4 weeks after issuance. And they can also stack if you have a couple credits to use.

I found the title a bit confusing. Thought I could buy $30 credit for $10, $75 for $25 etc. But alas, no

  • Can you buy separate deals?
    eg. 1 deal $15, another deal $15
I'm trying to do this but Groupon doesn't seem to have a shopping cart??

    • Nope, need to be in same transaction

  • No they do not allow that. has to be $30 or more to get this credit.Cannot combined

  • Sorry, this code can’t be applied. This order does not meet the minimum purchase price of $50.00—check the code’s rules.

  • Thanks OP! Best Groupon deal I've seen so far.

  • only being able to purchase one thing at a time is annoying

Anyone get some extra bucks? Haha, looks like I got double the love 😂

    • I saw double the bucks in my account last night, but couldn't apply them to an order. All the bucks were gone this morning - so I assume they were working out the glitch, considering they hadn't sent out the confirmation email to say they were in the account. A brief moment of excitement!
