    Hmm I wonder what is exactly done in these refurbished models .

    Have they replaced the battery or not as it isn’t easy to replace not to mention if the water proofing is still as good

      They are used, not refurbished. No new case, face and battery. Sellers lie.

      They seem to be an Apple-authorised repairer, so I wonder what Apple thinks of them describing used as refurb?
      Genuine Apple refurb is like new.

      The watch I received was dirty and locked to an Apple account. I suspect it is secondhand.

      You need to ask them directly, minimum of 3 months they said. But they said there were some with more warranty, but couldn't give me any options that had more

    I feel super sketchy about buying these. Not a single one has a description about the condition, accessories that it comes with or the warranty.

    Not to mention, no previous store post history here to gauge responses to purchases.

    Just picked up my order S4 GPS 44mm space grey. It’s basically brand new. The sales said it’s just been opened or display. Not 2nd hand or dodgy stocks. I’m happy with it. Highly recommended. 😊

    We are authorised by Apple to service and sell products, these were only used internally by Apple for training exercises by Apple employees. We also sell other open box Apple products

          Bought the S4 40mm Nike variance,It's basically brand new, even the shrink wrap also intact. Activated & checked the warranty status - Repairs and Service Coverage till 20/11/20. Friendly staff( Thanks Blair). Highly recommenced

    I ordered mine Friday, dispatched yesterday and delivered this morning.
    It was an open box, but everything inside looked untouched. Charging cable and power brick still wrapped. The watch band was still sealed in its box. Couldn't tell if the Watch itself was used or not with another band, but the battery was completely flat which probably indicates that it's been sitting in the box for ages.
    Only negative is that the watch band I got was not the one described in the listing; got a Red Sport Loop instead of the White Sport Band. (With Series 4 Apple Watch packaging, you could configure any band you wanted in the box through the Apple Store)

    Mine arrived yesterday too, just impressed by the state! You couldn't tell the difference between a brand new one if it had the plastic outside the box, everything brand new and the watch itself without any scuffs or any other mark.

    picked up two 40mm today warranty both 19/19/2020.. look brand new.
    Still setting up the first.. takes ages downloading software.

    Nice guy in shop said they been ozbargained on this :)
    Had to wait on pickup as they needed to wait to the money cleared from Credit Card.

      I am not sure why you would purchase these watches . As I asked earlier I am not sure how they would of refurbished it as their has been reviews it was near impossible to open it without damaging it .

        By refurbished, they were only ever used internally by Apple for training exercises by the Apple employees, these watches have never been opened or repaired!

    Ordered two watches on the 23rd of November, shipped on the 28th with Sendle and haven’t heard much since. Should I be worried. The estimated delivery day was yesterday. Only live a 1 hour drive from the store and it’s been 8 business days since the order.

    They charge $16 for postage then send it by snail mail. Watch I received was dirty and locked to an Apple account. Waiting for a fix from them. Was a present and to say not happy is an understatement.

      They are “refurbished”, but very strange it’s activation locked considering when you unpaired it, the lock should’ve been removed…

        When trying to set up on iphone app it says "Activation Lock - This apple watch is linked to an Apple ID. Enter the Apple ID and password that were used to set up this Apple watch. l*****@gmail.com". I suspect watch is secondhand.

    Hi is anybody here bought the series 4 and able to get apple watch os 6 update?
    I just received my order (series 4 44mm with 9 months warranty) and I’m now updating the software but it’s only os 5.3.4.
    Then I googled, and found this statement: “Apple has also released a watchOS 5.3.4 update for those who have ‌Apple Watch‌ models not able to be upgraded to ‌watchOS 6‌.“
    Well, I thought the series 4 would be able to be upgraded to OS 6, but why mine can’t get the 6? Any idea?
    I started to worry about this refurbished thing ,, like.. why
