I love this mattress, and this model is a recently update/improved version.

    • Is the new version firmer compare to the old one?
Because i checked that ppl compliant it's too soft.

      • No clue. I have the older and i like the medium softness.

      • +1

I have both. Yes, the new one is around 20% to 30% softer than the old one in my opinion. It's ok but I am not sure about the durability?

In term of build quality, I still prefer the old one because it gives you the sense of solid build feeling whereas the new one doesn't. Please bear in mine that it's also very subjective too!

Having said that, it's still a good buy considering the price.

        • They have another one which is very Firm (8/10), the only downside is that its 23cm :-(

        • I agree that the new ones don't seem as sturdy or good quality as the old ones. They are still super comfy but I doubt the foams will hold up to years of daily use without sagging. Perfect for a guests room.
They are quite soft so I recommend the firmer version if you want a medium or firm feel.

      • Not firm. Sides too soft.

I have found that when a product pops up a lot on Ozbargains usually it's pretty good. This is no exception. There's a reason the moment it goes on sale people post it on this forum. I have the previous version and have owned it for 6 months now. It's an amazing mattress for $230, I would highly recommend

bummer .. got this on the last mattress sale (although this time the latex version).. I have the old black label one, and it lasted around a year then started to sag even with rotation, and now gains its form back, but less than an hour into sleeping it will sag again making for a painful sleep) I did not find it too soft as a stomachache/side sleeper (well until the sagging) can not comment on the newer version but for the price it is much better than many of the expensive ones I have bought over the years which end up with the same result

  • I would recommend this mattress. I live alone but somehow ended having 4 mattresses (2 of the firm and 2 of the medium firm) !

    • Could you tell me if the firm ones have any edge support ?
      Thanks

I like the review of this mattress. Actually I am waiting for Feb 2020 so my council can take my old King size so I can replace with a new one.
Anyway, is there a showroom or a warehouse I can visit in Melbourne so I can test before commit buying it online?

  • I have the previous version in a double can't decide if I love it or hate it. I slept on the same crappy mattress for like 10 years before hand

  • Absolutely LOVE this mattress …

Most mornings it's now a lot harder getting out of bed because it's such an absolute delight to just lie back and enjoy.

Moved from a 20-year-old sagging mattress and have now transformed into a sleeping Heaven - for a tad over $200.

Would have no hesitation recommending this mattress.

Note: It takes about a week to fully expand - so don't pass judgement on it until it has.

Once it's fully expanded it delivers sleeping comfort in spades.

    Thanks Atelier! :-)

    • Is it this new one (7 zones) or the one it’s just replaced (5 zones)?

  • any comment on their bed frame?

    • +1

Hi I've also got the frame (including the mattress) - its got more slats than a previous frame I had from a different ebay seller. Construction appears solid and looks well made for its cost. It's got a few stitching irregularities but not noticeable without directly looking. The fabric is not high quality but on the same token, it feels alright to touch and look at. The frame also doesn't creak under pressure - I'd recommend it over the mattress if I had to choose between them.

  • +1

Been using mine for 18 months. its always felt softer than I'd like and no edge support but I've never had any discomfort sleeping on it.
Of course my opinion means nothing if they have changed it now.

Ozbargain seem to like this mattress, so I want to like it too. But a quick look at the reviews on ProductReview and you see single-review people (fair enough) raving about a mattress they bought in 2017 but decided to review in July 2019 (weird). Not all reviews look fake thankfully, but a few don't look genuine.

No product review for this one on ebay (a pricier model has very good ones though), so tough to know what to trust.

Hi all, this is a non sock account review. My previous posts on this deal were positive initially yes the mattress was incredibly comfortable however few months in and the springs collapsed a bit and now have a very uncomfortable dent that I need to go up a hill to roll out of. Never had a mattress collapse this quickly, so I started doing researching and I noticed many others complain of the springs collapsing early on

Sure it’s cheap $270 for a king mattress but if it only lasts you 6 months what’s the point. Not happy anymore with this and will def never buy again. The springs now put a lot of pressure on my body

    • +1

Yeah ours has also developed some sagging after ~8 months. Nothing too drastic; I still find it comfortable. But definitely makes me wonder how it'll hold up a year from now.

    • Have you guys asked the seller for warranty? I want to know how helpful the seller is in such cases?

    • no offense but just wondering how much do you weigh?

  • Can anyone see the firm queen I looked but can only see a king single?

  • But is this a Sleeping Duck mattress, brew?

  • +1

I've purchased this about a month ago - the queen B label. Its not too firm and not too soft - its genuinely good. I figure a rotation every three months should keep it going for up to two years before a replacement is required. Also - no edge support - you will sink on any edge.

    • Is yours the new model? Its description says no rotation and has edge support… just wondering

      • Ebay shows the mattress description as "Queen Double King Single Mattress Bed Euro top Pocket Spring Latex Chiropractic", which links to the new improved version.

I also purchased the Scandi frame from them (which I like and was easy to put together).

  • Hi has anyone had experience with delivery to the back unit? As I’m in the back unit & was wanting to know if they can deliver to the back unit & do they notify ie SMS when they deliver?
    Any help/feedback is much appreciated!

    • whats a back unit?

i've seen in other posts the courier will deliver to street and not to the house. Box has wheels i think i recall reading, but heavy.

      • I’m in a complex of 3 unit/villa and mine one is at the back.
Thanks for your response. If they come with wheels that would be great!

  • Turns out I ordered this mattress when the PSNOOZE deal was going on eBay earlier in the week.

I can give a report if anyone likes when it arrives on Friday.

    • Yes please if you could let me know how it arrives & if comes on wheels! Thanks

      • Mine arrived in a box with no wheels.

    • Hell yea boss.

Keep in mind as per others you'll need to give it a week to fully expand

    • Did it arrive yesterday.
I am guessing tonight is the first night sleeping on it?

    • Hi did the mattress arrive & how did it come?

  • My king mattress is about 12 years old. Paid about 1.5k back then. It is still good but I think at 12 years, it may be time to change. I understand all mattresses are different but wondering if anyone has gone through the same exercise of changing a >10years old $1k+ mattress to this one?

  • +1

I would like to share my experience with their extra firm (24cm) king unit. The bed has developed sagging (~1/2cm deep) within 3 days of use (on both side where 90kg and 50kg sleeping). It’s noticeable when you lie down near the centre. Have been using about 2 months but sagging is not getting worse since then (so I am hoping if middle part gets sagging as well, it becomes flat). Generally we are happy with bed since it is much quieter when moving compared to our previous firm bed.

  • Actually is this soft enough? I've got a $1xxx firm at the moment and regret it, killing my back… Need something medium. Scared if this is too firm again.

  • +1

This absolutely killed my back. No support at all, my spine was constantly trying to hold itself up leading to terrible sleeo. I had it for 3 months with a foam topper, last week I bought a proper mattress.

If anyone wants one of these cheap and can pick it up from Sydney let me know. Hardly been used. 😄

  • If I wanted a new mattress but wanted to spend a bit more and get something nicer, what would you recommend?

    • tontine, sleeping duck, koala - are all in the same roll up mattress categories… theres heaps more

  • +2

Hmm… reading comments about sagging issues and then seeing that the warranty only covers "Sagging with indentation greater than 38mm." Dunno if that's typical for mattress warranties but it seems like a decent sag!

    • 3.8cm sag is quite a bit.

  • dayum doesn't come in super king :(

  • booo queen sold out

    • Just send the ebay store a message and they usually restock straight away.

  • +1

For those living in qld/Brisbane, how does the bed breathe??

We have a good mattress atm but it doesn't breathe so your back feels hot but on top feels ok, especially with a ceiling fan on

  • +1

We got this a month ago, great mattress. Not as soft as our last mattress, and so we added this mattress topper to it and now it's the perfect softness with still decent back support: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Royal-Comfort-1000GSM-Luxury-Bam…

  • Can anyone advise this VS Marce Blanc?

  • They are in stock - Just the Double isn't - All other sizes available

  • They are all back in stock now
