What Is The Best Value for Money Laptop with GPU for $800 - $1500

Hello

I want a laptop with a gpu and new i5-i7 processor.
Having USB C charging is good but i read that its hard to find on laptops with a GPU.
I am also leaving australia soon so i can claim the TRS at the airport.
I plan to either use or re-sell this laptop in vietnam, depends if i can sell my current laptop for a decent price.

I have the Dell G3 15 Gaming Laptop in my cart.
Processor
9th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-9300H (8MB Cache, up to 4.1 GHz, 4 cores)
Operating System
Windows 10 Home (64bit) English
Video Card
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 3GB GDDR5
Memory
8GB 2x4GB DDR4 2666MHz
Hard Drive
256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive
LCD
15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) Anti-glare LED Backlit Non-touch Narrow Border WVA Display"

Its $899
7% cashback = $62
10% GST TRS Refund = $89

Total cost $748

I plan to upgrade the ram and SSD so that's another $250 give or take so it will equal around $1000.

Tossing between the previous stated one and this one

Or even a ASUS Tuf but there is no usb-c which is dissapointing

Are there any better laptops on sale that anyone can currently recommend? I know the GPU isn't great in this, but i don't need a beefy one. Not trying to play AAA games on high settings or anything, but possibly be doing some twitch streaming and light fps/moba games. It is mainly my travel workstation for spreadsheets and some super light video/photo editing

Thanks in advance!

  • MSI gf75 thin.
Has USB c but not for charging the laptop itself.

  • I'm looking for one as well, I would probably go for the 1500 dell one.

  • I ended up buying the lenovo thinkpad e14 with i7 10th gen….hope it arrives before i fly off.
