Suggestions for Tablet PC

Looking to buy a tablet, not sure which one to go with. They all have +ve and -ve.

Purchase will be made through Amazon as I have store credit that needs to be used before it expires.

I will be using it for
Gmail video chat,
Skype,
web browsing,
watching movies or connecting to TV, would be great if it supports netflix
and word processing

would be looking at buying the 16GB version. So would love to be able to add extra storage either external drive or micro SD card.

    This is the 16GB version that does deliver to Australia. Can add microsd to it, also sd card if you buy the dock.

    Without the dock it's also the cheapest. Review that an apparent apple fanboy that liked the transformer a bit better, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3N9MmKy87s

    If your going to be doing Word Processing, definately get the Transformer with the Dock, the Transformer Pad is the only one with a great inbuilt word processing software, much better than Pages with an iPad.
    You might also want to get an Android Tablet if your going to use Gmail Video Chat, so another tick towards the Transformer Pad.

    For the transformer, if a dock is used I heard it reduces the battery life significantly though I also heard it will be fixed through a software update. The Iconia I would not suggest, I briefly played with one in myer (Bankstown) and I have to say it was sluggish compared to my B&N nook colour which is not overclocked and running its OS off an SD card.

    As for being able to get it sent here, just go through a parcel forwarding company but remember they'll charge a fee, I would recommend priceusa which I have had great customer service from.

      I don't have this problem. The dock does have a cell battery in it, so it actually extends battery life by around 6 hours or so.

      That battery problem was around april/may. I've never had it.
      Amazon ships it straight to Australia(asus transformer), don't need to use a forwarding company.
