The men's shaver seems to be wet and dry use which is perfect for me because my current razer is giving me razer burns so looking into something automatic and convenient to use.

The grooming kit I don't think is usable in wet but might be good for doing quick and simple trim ups to keep a clean look.

I am in the market for a good wet and dry shaver or grooming kit for keeping a clean shaven face.

Needs to be usable in the shower or at least rinseable between shaves as I will be using these items in the shower.

Funny I don't really have access to a basin but yeah.

What does everybody use or highly regard?

  • I have the kit, only for it for the nose thing. The rest is pretty "meh". Normal shaver is a Panasonic es-st23 which is miles better.

  • 60 days return, just try it.

    • I don't think you can return it after you have used it right and anyways I would feel bad can't do that too the Aldi employee lol I dunno maybe but I would feel like a turd.

      • +1

You sure can. I tried their petrol pressure washer, it was rubbish so took it back.

        • Oh ok cool then this might be reassuring.

  • I bought the grooming kit as my old one was about to die just as I was about to go travelling for work for 3 weeks. It's pretty garbage and catches hairs all the time, I wouldn't recommend it.

  • That grooming kit is different to the Visage one I bought from ALDI last year.

  • I previously bought the Rechargeable Men's Grooming Kit the other year & did not like it,
nose trimmer did stuff all, the face trimmer didn't seem to do much

Although as someone has said already, it is a different version.

Do yourself a favour and buy the https://www.bigw.com.au/product/remington-titanium-all-in-on…
    or something similar.

I had a remington brand cheapy (like the one linked)for years and it did very well until the battery decided to pull the pin.
I then went ultra cheap Remington and I didnt like it that much as it didn't sound or feel as good, but it still did the trick.
SO The model linked would be the minimum I would get, It looks the sme as what I used to have and was very happy with.
They have changed to the round nose trimmer, I preferred the flat type as the Aldi round trimmer didn't seem to do anything.

  • Ok so consensus seems to be to avoid the Aldi men's grooming kit.

Any comments on the men's shaver?

Or is that garbage too if maybe I missed some comments.
