  • Don't forget 6% cashback from MoneyBackCo. Making the SGS2 only $563.96

    • cheers, didn't know that.

    • No they only give non GST component so you only get $32.55 back bringing it to $567.40 + postage

  • Look like overseas model. Can it use Telstra Next G?

    • Band: UMTS (850/900/1900/2100 MHz) + GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)
      Data Speed^: HSPA+21Mbps/HSUPA 5.76Mbps/3G/EDGE/GPRS

by the looks of that, I believe so?

The Galaxy2 is quadband meaning that you can use it on all 3g networks in Australia.

The Sensation is 900/2100Mhz which is not usable on the NextG network, which uses 850Mhz. You can use it on the slower 2100Mhz Telstra network, but then you're playing the Telstra premium for no reason.

    • postage?
    • looks like postage is around $31.28 (NSW and VIC)

  • Bloody expensive shipping and the stock comes from overseas, so warranty can be a problem for some people.

    • +1

      thats cheap

    • +1

Yeah, It seems to be overseas stock but has 1 year local aussie warranty.

  • HTC sensation only $488 +$49 shipping on shoppingsquare and it is all coming from the same warehouse!!!

And no you can't use this on the 4G network.

  • +1

CMIIW, but the prices elsewhere are around that range for the s2, from 601 to 614, with varying shipping costs.. So, not really a bargain?

  • +2

Coming from an overseas warehouse, does this mean there wont be any Australian warranty/guarantee??

    • -1

      correct

    • +1

It should have 1 year local aussie warranty

  • Is there a reason you would buy the above when they sell on eBay for slightly cheaper?

        Thanks, I did, but $563 + $49 shipping still more than $600

  • Seems like a decent deal. But you can get the 32gb Micro SD for $49.95 delivered - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SanDisk-32GB-microSDHC-Card-micro…

  • LG 2x @ $399.95 + $31.28 shipping is not bad.. do they provide an aussie tax invoice with ABN?
