  Just be wary this is a Region 2 DVD set.

  I have this set. It is, indeed, awesome. Two annoyances:

  1. size - it's big. really big.
  2. no chapter skips around starting credits. After 8 seasons, I now hate the theme song.

  That said, awesome buy and I paid $180 for it way back.

      Yes I would SG1 is that awesome.

      For those of you who can't watch 20 hours of SG1 4 mins of Tealc's indeed will persuade you to make a similar clip with this collection :P

    I don't think there has been a Blu-ray release of Stargate SG1, the moves from the set have been released on Blu-ray tho. I did read something on a UK forums say they aren't planning to release on Blu-ray but they maybe just a rumor.

  I have this box set at home (bought from amazon.co.uk last year). It's actually dual encoded with Region 2+4, except SG-1 Seasons 2 and 10 for some reason are only Region 2. I played them all on my Aus PS3 just fine, but had to watch seasons 2 and 10 on my PC with VLC.

  ive actually met the actor that plays tealc, he told me for the first five seasons he had more lines but was to hung over to remember them
