      I bought it not long ago from Bing Lee for $198 - standard price btw, there is no difference between the yas-108b and the ats-1080 - and we love it. Due to space requirements we moved from a Z5500 surround system to this sound bar and I'm really liking the sound it produces.
      I have linked it to a powered yamaha subwoofer via the subwoofer output and aside from missing the rear speakers of the z5500 set up, I feel it's a perfect solution for our situation.

    I want to update my current budget 2.1 PC Speakers from years ago. Will be situated on my desk and used 99% for music videos and podcasts. Thoughts on this soundbar to replace it? I am worried the lack of sub will be noticeable. but would like to eliminate the space the sub takes up..

      I think it has pretty good bass as it is. You can definitely feel the air movement around the woofer vents on each side of the soundbar.
      It may not have the same bass you're used to with a dedicted 2.1 system but I would definitely give this system some serious thought for a budget 2.1 system replacement.

    Are the YAS-108B and YAS-108 the same? Recently bought from goodguys, listed as YAS-108B but received YAS-108.
