      • Purchases of gift cards and the usage promo codes or Voucher codes not approved by ShopBack
  • Is there a time for the expiry?

    • +1

      Ends 12/12 1159pm

      • Its showing available still, I cant find the expire date anywhere

  • +3

Does this stack with the $20 McDonald vouchers?

    • -1

      wut

      • +2

In the McDonald's monopoly promotion, there was a spend $79 get $20 off at Amazon. My question is will I still be eligible for the cashback if I use this code?

        • +2

          Cashback is not qualified for:
          - Items added to cart before clicking through ShopBack
          - Returns, exchanges & cancellations
          - Prime membership purchase, Kindle Unlimited, Mobile Apps, Audible, Echo Accessories, Kindle Accessories & Travel electronics are not applicable for Cashback
          - Purchases of gift cards and the usage promo codes or Voucher codes not approved by ShopBack
          - Subscribe & Save purchases

          Likely no

          • +5

@FireRunner: completely unrelated but it's interesting that you wrote 'Likely no" instead of just "Unlikely"

        • in any case, those vouchers are only for new Amazon customers. waste of time

      • -3

        yeh, wut?

    • I have tried on black friday and it works. The shopback tracked my shop and the cashback is still pending. I got a ringfit less than $70.haha

      • +1

Tracking doesn't mean you will get your payout.

      • +1

How did you manage that? The Ringfit was and still currently selling for $119, $125 after tax and delivery. Got $21.65 cashback, so that's still $103.35.

        • I got a $20 off voucher from maccas and there is a further 10% cashback when you paid by zippay

      • +1

Tracked but it's gonna get rejected, happened before.

  • +2

Just purchased something… canceled and reordered!
    Amazon is the best

  • +1

My 5% off gift cards from the Post shop is coming today. Stack up with 12%,BANG! Nice timing!

    • +1

Sometimes they take some time to activate, so you better try and activate them the moment you receive them.

    • -4

Except you won't get 12% cashback because you are paying with giftcards

      • +2

It would be cool that people can read OP post sometimes !

      • +4

Cashback is only payable on order value (excludes taxes, shipping and packaging costs) and is valid on orders paid for with gift cards (not orders with Amazon credit)

Or: 'Cashback is… …valid on orders paid for with gift cards (but not if paid for using Amazon credit).'

  • Yess!

  • How about subscription groceries items? Usually they are not included, but i dont see it in "exclusions'?

    • +1

      Cashback is not qualified for:

      Subscribe & Save purchases

  • Just ordered. Thanks!

  • +9

The question is, can this be used for multiple transaction?
If so then it's an awesome deal!!

    • You'd just add everything you want to buy to the same cart and then checkout to be safe.

Unless you meant, can we get $50 each time, on multiple orders… That would almost certainly be a no, that they've just forgotten to say: 'One cashback only per Shopback account."

  • +1

Very great, saved about $25 on my RAM

  • ordered a load of kids books - all in stock all by "Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd"

    expedited delivery ..

    says Arriving:
    Friday, December 27 -
    Thursday, January 9

    sound right ?

    • Expedited from Albuquerque

      • I'm sure that is a Breaking Bad reference, but I don't quite get it in this context…

        • Amazon's tendency to build distribution centres in small country towns in an attempt to never pay a cent in taxes and receive subsidies/handouts from local struggling municipalities

  • Cashback is only payable on order value (excludes taxes, shipping and packaging costs) and is valid on orders paid for with gift cards (not orders with Amazon credit)

Even if only partially paid with Amazon credit? I have $5 in my account so will that void the cashback if I am buying stuff that will cost $30 or $40 and use that $5 credit as well?

    • +1

      yep.

  • +3

Why does it say " on All Categories" then they start defining categories .. feels like there is a catch in there somewhere I am missing.

    • Cashback is usually different depending on category so stuff like jewelry has higher cashback than electronics, this is saying all the categories that usually get cashback are 12% while the ones that don't like gift cards don't

  • Works via the app yeah?

    • Yes

  • -1

Can I use prime to get $5 off the last of us two and stack with this or are preorders excluded?

    • +9

      Read the description noob

  • Nice! Just bought the g pro wireless :)

  • +4

Man, Shopback has always sucked for me…it either never tracks the order or like with the Ebay $5 off for $5+ purchase, I reported it to them and they just gave me the 1% off but not the $5 bonus.

    • +1

$5 bonus should be given on Jan 1st if it's the resent stuff.

    • +5

Ok, here's what I do - and mine seem to be tracking ok (lately anyway - I wasn't paying attention before)…

      1. First I shop for what I want to buy. Then I put the product title/ISBN/UPC etc. into a text file. Close the shopping site's window.

      2. Disable all browser extensions and enable the Shopback one. Then close that window, open it again, and check the ones you removed are really gone from the list - and Shopback is on. Why? Because recently I removed Firefox extensions and the list showed they were off. But I happened to open it again to check and saw some were still running. Likewise I enabled the Shopback one but it didn't turn on. The extensions window didn't refresh for some reason. So disable/enable, close the window, reopen and check. Then close it.

      3. Log into Amazon (or whatever site the deal is for) making sure to check the 'stay logged in', 'remember me on this computer', etc. box. Close window.

      4. Click on the Shopback extension at the top of your browser and click on something to login or take you to the Shopback site to login. Check you definitely are logged in by clicking 'My Account' in the extension to check it recognises you. Close window.

      5. Copy the product title/ISBN/UPC etc. from the text file.

      6. Go to the ozbargain deal page, click the "Go to Deal" button, click the correct link on their site to the deal (sometimes there's more than one current deal). In this case, Amazon. Once on Amazon the Shopback extension should be green. Right-click and paste the item into the search box, add it to your cart, go to checkout, check the Shopback extension still shows green - and checkout and pay.

[Edit] Oh, and obviously delete any items from your cart before starting the process. That's why I copy & paste the description/UPC/etc. in manually.

      • With step 6, I usually go via shopback website or mobile app (then search for the item when you get redirected to the site). Another option I suppose!

My main prob is I've bought so much stuff during black friday etc and bonus cashbacks that I can't remember it all and if they were indeed tracked or not!! :P

        • Yeah, the reason I do 6 that way is there has times when there was more than type of deal. If But if I start here instead of on SB/CR, I don't have to worry if I'm clicking the right deal.

      • +2

Rather than mucking around with extensions I just keep a Chromium install with just Cashback extensions installed. Use that whenever I need to use cashback. Seems to work ok

        • +1

Sounds good. But I don't think I can run multiple instances of the same browser - and I always have several tabs open with things I need to revisit and deal with. So when a new deal appaers here, I'd have to check each tab and do 'whatever' first, before I could close all the tabs to open another version of the same browser.

          • +1

@GregMonarch: That's why I use Chromium and not Chrome - they pick up as a different browser. Can have both open at the same time

      • Omg over engineered IMHO.
I just use app on phone for all my purchases, never had any probs with SB or CR.

        • It is. But I've missed cashbacks in the past, this covers all bases, and I keep reading other people having trouble. As one of the cashback sites says, don't even click away so nothing goes wrong. That's why I shop first, and copy the item product codes ready to go through the above steps - so I don't even have to click back to the text file. i.e. If I have multiple items to buy then I copy several codes in a line like this:

          111111111 222222222 33333333333

… then I paste tht whole line into the search field, cut all but the first one again ready to paste again after I add the first one to the cart.

I'd rather do drawn-out steps that I know are foolproof, than trying to work out weeks later what a dozen 'pending' cashbacks are that all look the same, trying to figure out did I get paid the correct amount, etc.

    • I just assume I will receive the bonus as they promise by the date, but coz the date is often months and months ahead I tend to lose track as there has been so many

      • Exactly. I tried keeping a spreadsheet of expected cashbacks, but even that doesn't work for me. That's why I do the same steps every time that other people would find unnecessary.

  • +8

Is this valid for multiple transactions? Have made one, not sure if I should risk another.

    • Hope shopback can clarify their terms of whether:
      - $50 cap in total for the day (and if needs to be in single order or multiple okay)
      - or $50 cap per order (meaning could do multiple orders)

    • Probably not. It would be safer to contact Amazon, cancel the order, and reorder with everything in the same cart this time.

    • It always has been in the past? The $50 cap is cumulative though.

  • Someone tell me what to buy?! Thanks OP!

  • Damn I got all excited to buy a new phone but saw the $50 limit :/

S10e in white would be down to $671.44

    • You could get the s10e through this offer and come up way ahead?
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/504362

      • Yeah I've been considering that one but decided I didn't want to mess around with the ETC

        • ETC is about 390? just pay it + 99…pretty sweet deal!

  • +2

So to receive the full $50 cashback cap, you have to spend $416.67 before GST/shipping/packaging is added on, right?

    That is: 12% of $416.67 = $50

    • +1

I have spend $465 as closest $ spend amount subtracting GST for max Cashback.

  • can anyone confirm echo show 5 is included?
    https://www.amazon.com.au/Echo-Show-5-Compact-smart-display-…

    • Not sure what you mean… Does it ship free with Prime? Yes. But I'm not logged in and it still shows: "Deal Price $79.00 & FREE Delivery" anyway.

If you meant, is it included in this deal at all… what makes you concerned it's not? It's listed on Amazon AU and the OP says 'all categories included'.

If it's because the OP states: "Smartwatches, Non-Echo Devices with Alexa, Echo Device Accessories & Monitor are included under Electronics Category"… that's just saying which cashback category THOSE items fit into to know which cashback rate applies - not that the item you're looking does not qualify at all.

Or maybe I'm completely missing something obvious and I need to go to sleep, LOL.

      • There’s a deal to get two echo shows cheaper using a code. Search for other deals here on ozb

  • This deal is for any seller in amazon (except the exclusions)? Or only for items from the Amazon Au store?

  • Suncorp Benefits is selling Amazon e-gift cards at 3% discount. Anyone know how fast they deliver when purchased?

    • +2

      In my experience immediately

    • Always immediately for me too.

    • 2 mins

  • +1

Does anyone know if Kindle Paperwhite Reader is covered? It says Kindle accessories are not applicable but I don't know if this includes the actual Kindle itself.

  • Hmmm

Would make the new switch & Mario combo around $350…. Noice

  • Does anyone know how to show more than 16 items per page when searching Amazon?

    • Not sure we understand the question… How would you show even two items on the same Amazon page!? Do you mean in the cart?

      • when searching only 16 items show per page, and there are 93 pages to wade thru. On Ebay I can show 200 items per search page

        • +1

Oh, ok. No there doesn't seem to be a way. Have to use the 'sort by' option at top right, and limit the search by clicking boxes lower left. You can also centre-click on the mouse on the page numbers at the bottom to open multiple pages and then switch between them.
