I don’t think they’ll sell many of the 250GB portable drives, even though the price is good, but it’d be hard to not get the 500GB Ext’ drive for less money. At $121- the 500GB is even better GBper$ than the WD MyBook 1TB at OfficeWorks/HarrisTechnology for $249 (got one last week in BrisVegas - they’d initially sold out & I had to order one from OW). BTW, the OW ‘price match’ policy is pretty good. I was in OW y’day after a desk & was checking out speakers on the way through the store. They had Logitech X-230(2.1) for an OK price of $59. I intended getting a set from MSY this week for $50 & the salesman did a match-the-price-minus-5%, so I got them then & there for $47-50. Can’t complain about that!!!

Good price - however, Im finding the SATA2 640GB drives and 3.5” cases work out cheaper per $GB. You can get the 640GB for around $106 and $20 for a case around most places.

I’m on the lookout for a notebook (2 1/2”) USB HDD case to use as a portable storage device. Yeah, they seem to be had for around $20 also, with a 120GB 2 1/2” drive for around $55. I’m still kicking myself for missing out on the mWave wireless notebook drive case ($20!!!) the other week…
