    I wouldn't have really put it the same category as an iPad. This is more of a smart home device with a screen which you place on display.

  Bulb is $20 one. The Show 5 is probably better value if you have a tablet already.

    The show 5 has terrible microphones. Much worse than even the older dots.

      Probably cos they’re designed to be closer? Used as alarm clocks or on desks? I’ve had no issues with mine.

    I've got the 10" in the kitchen and Show 5 on the bedside table. The 10" has a far better screen, sound quality and microphones. Playing music or watching media on it is actually fantastic. The show 5 is still good, and the better value for money and idea on a bedside table. Elsewhere in the house the 10 screen is a better choice if the funds allow.

      I did like the 10”, I just figured I wouldn’t use it much given the tablets, TVs, monitors, phones, Switches, laptops etc in the house.

      The Show is kind of neat to watch some Prime before bed though. Or listen to a podcast.
