Bonus also that they have changed the rules, and any new points don't expire.

  • Thanks OP. Looks like it requires registration before transferring, would be good to highlight this.

Also when I look at the Asia Miles Finance Partners, CBA is not there! NAB, ANZ, Westpac, Citi all are listed….

You are right, it should be highlighted so thanks. The link in the post takes you directly to the registration page.

  • Only works with HK specific cards. Tried it with my Citi and got credited without the 10%.

    • I'm pretty sure that the bonus points get credited weeks later.
"Bonus points will be credited 8 to 10 weeks after the end of the promotion"

      • Ah, silver lining. Thanks for pointing that out! I had contacted Asia Miles to see what was going on with the missing miles, lol.

        • Pretty crappy clause. Didn't worry me, but plenty of people would be transferring points in to use straight away.

          • @madreece: They replied to me with the exact same explanation, just in case anyone was wondering:

"Thank you for contacting the Asia Miles Service Centre regarding the 'New Year, More Miles Extra 10% Miles' promotion.

The extra miles will be credited to registered member's Asia Miles account within 8 to 10 weeks after the end date of the Promotion Period (i.e. 31 January 2020)."
