Good for those who were wanting an iPhone but didn't want to spend anything upfront.

the correct way if you can't afford upfront, get something else cheaper. Not by getting into contract which you end up paying more in long run. Be smart.

Just to be sure, we're both talking about paying $65/month for 60GB data and the iPhone released 16 September 2016??

    • +3

      Collectors item?

      • +2

I'd rather have the $400 gift card. At least that holds its worth and doesn't pretend to be more than it is.

Personally I’m on a $40 a month Telstra post paid plan,30 gig. With this deal it means I would pay $300 extra over 12 months for an iPhone 7. I don’t think that’s too bad as I can’t buy an iPhone 7 for $300 anywhere. Personally the 32gb isn’t enough but if it was a 64gb I’d be tempted.

    • It's not a bad phone and, if you want to play with the Apple watch, this has latest level IOS.

      • Honestly, I would probably keep it on iOS 11 or so. Can't imagine it running too well on iOS 13.3.
from limited experience with others old phones on latest iOS

        • My man bought this one at $499 so he could get a watch 3. It works well for him.

        • +1

Updates often improve older model phones,, iOS 13 is fine on 6s and works very well on 7

      This is a bargain site.
Please link where you can get it cheaper with the same inclusions.
Not everyone needs the iPhone 11.

      • +2

Fair enough, however iPhone 7 is OzMuseum.

      • +2

Yep. Perfect for my parents. It’s all they need

If you refuse to see this for what it is, which is the good guys desperately trying to move old stock, then I don't really know what to tell you.

Last one came with $500 GC
Or get an S10e for $99

Find me someone who is willing to trade me an S10e and $99 for an iPhone 7 (32gb).

Please link where you can get it cheaper with the same inclusions.

Does this mean if something like Sunrice 5kg rice bag isn't on special anywhere, it's okay to pay $20 because it's the cheapest around?

        • Does this mean if something like Sunrice 5kg rice bag isn't on special anywhere, it's okay to pay $20 because it's the cheapest around?

Yes, and by Ozbargain law, you must post the $20 bag as a deal on the site.

          • @lostn:

by Ozbargain law, you must post the $20 bag as a deal on the site.

I'll leave that to you. Next time there is no specials of it anywhere I expect you to post it and not break the Ozbargain law.

            • @pennypincher98: you're the one who knew the price off the top of your head. The burden is on you. Clause 16.2.3 of the OzBargain Act 2016.

    • is there s10e for $99 or $0, plan is ending and i need a new plan immediately

      • How much data are you needing?
There's better value in 6 and 12 month SIMs.
        (ie both Boost and Telstra)

        • i'm planning on getting a new phone, but if getting the $65 for 60gb data even though i don't need that much + phone, cost same price then why not

      • I also want to know if this deal is still running

  • what else is avaliable i'm urgently in need of a plan as mine's ending soon, any s10e for $99 plans available for the 12moth $65 60gb

    • Why are you “urgently” in need of a plan lol.. just go on a cheap sim deal.. circles $28pn & wait for the right plan to come along

      • urgently need a new plan, but i want a new phone as well, what better way than to join the plan for 768 a year + 99 for a new phone
Highly consider the s10e but unsure if promo still on

        • Oh ok, wait for a better deal.. iPhone 7 to old now , or just buy used & go on a sim plan

$51 is the cheapest, add $x for higher data plans.

      • nah only intend for 12 months contract
besides i prefer the telstra premium support(i have seriously bought their marketing)

how's telstra speed and support compared to Optout and vodafone

  • +1

Maybe I should have set my iPhone 7 up as a new phone, but I’m finding it constantly running out of ram, pages in safari refresh when opening safari again, can’t fill out forms. I’ll be getting the iPhone 11, iPhone 7 is like having brain damage.

    • apple is damaging your brain.

      • +2

It’s just frustrating when you’re filling a web form and you open the notes app to copy your TFN, then open safari again and the page refreshes clearing everything you put in. My older iPhone 6S never did this so I have no idea. But I’m sure the 11 will run smoothly.

  • +1

So essentially if you cancel immediately it’sa new iPhone 7 for $390.

    • +1

don't you have to pay for the first month right away?

      • If you called Telstra and cancelled on day 1 it would cost $390

        • have you tried this?

    • Correct

    • I'm not familiar with the Telstra penalties for ending a plan after one month on a plan with phone included. Is this accurate?

      • ETC for plan is $390. Phone is from GG not Telstra. As soon as you have active sim use app to change to a Telstra plan (these have no ETC). Once that’s done cancel that plan.
