I'm looking for a wireless controller. Best price I can find currently is this one from BigW at $59 in-store. $20 off there regular price. Alternatively it's $66.88 on Amazon delivered from US with Prime.

Note it doesn't have rumble or NFC! So if that's important, this is not the controller for you. Does have motion control though.

Here's a positive youtube review: https://youtu.be/txehsKJFIhg?t=301

Note sure how much stock is around but they're showing as available in Hightpoint, Sunshine and Broady near me.

These are licences PowerA controllers for those interested. Not Nintendo first party.

    • Just what I was about to ask. Looks exactly like a Nintendo one with a paint job though.

I’ll never buy another Power A controller again absolute rubbish. There are some cheap Hori switch controllers that are good though. I don’t think any of these support motion controls or amibo scanning..

    • It has motion control. But not amibo scanning (NFC).

Second this. I had one PowerA controller and will never buy again! Hori is a good choice. Even 8bitdo is way better then PowerA

I'd rather spend a bit more and get a real Pro Controller.

Yea, not cheap enough to be competitive.

Edit. It also loses some functionality.

At this price you can get the 8BitDo one which supports rumble, motion bluetooth and can also connect to PC (detected as Xbox1 controller), Android and MacOS. Dunno if 8bitDo supports NFC (for Amiibo) though…

So yeah, get Hori or 8BitDo at this price.

where is a good place to buy them? amazon has the sn30+ pro listed at 80 bucks

      • reposted this comment cause apparently amazon link contained referral codes which i don't how it got there:

        https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0748S3GXG

This is probably not as ergonomic as the SN30+ pro but i'm happy with this.

Big W always has these on sale.

    • I agree

  • Still too expensive tbh.
    Needs to be under $40.

  • do switch controller work with Wii U?

  • Might check my local tomorrow

If you have any controllers for other consoles spare, just buy a Mayflash Magic-NS adaptor or the 8Bitdo Wireless Adaptor, both of which will allow you to use your old wireless (or even wired with the Mayflash) controllers on your Nintendo switch, and they also work to allow you to use these controllers on many other devices too.

  • Says it is $79 onthe website atm.
