This offer seems to come around every year as the companies try and shift their fleets north for winter.

Britz and Apollo are both offering a 60% discount on one way hire of their campervans and motorhomes from Hobart.

Book before 30 April.
Britz: travel between 20 April and 30 June
Apollo: travel between 1 March and 31 May

I think it’s absurd to expect the hirer to pay for the ferry. I imagine very few people would hire ANY vehicle and then pay to take it across the strait.

  I did book as it's only $199 for a campervan on the ferry. However when I went to book the ferry there wasn't any availability for the entire two weeks of my campervan booking. Apollo refunded my deposit without any arguments.
