Flights from Adealide to Gold Coast

My friend has organised a group holiday as part of her wedding.
We are flying from Adelaide to the Gold Coast on the 17th of April and returning on the 21st April 2012.
She has a quote from a travel agent but I'm wondering if anyone who knows much about booking travel etc could find something cheaper?
Also can you get a group discount if booking for 18 adults and 1 child aged 3?

    What was the quote and the airline?

    Travel agents will always tack on a fee for booking domestic flights. You're better off booking with the airline directly yo get the cheapest price.

    Not sure about discounts with groups > 10 but again best to ask the airline directly.

    For those dates the cheapest flight out is with Virgin and Jetstar at $139 + baggage
    Returning is $139 + baggage with Jetstar

    Thanks Ndiddy, those prices are cheaper than the ones we were quoted.
    Adelaide to Gold Coast we were quoted $170 including baggage and Gold Coast to Adelaide was $214 with Jetstar.
