only if you intend to upgrade LCD panel yourself. will be easy on this model. $100 for a decent IPS FullHD panel and 10 minutes to install.

Worked with a few similar HP models just like this one before for repair. Build quality is by far the worst i've ever seen in a laptop. Don't recommend it for uni or school, the thing will likely break quickly.

  Agreed. I'd avoid, I had one fall apart around the hinge area in about a year.
