  • You can get Miband 4 for similar price (Chinese version), what makes this a better buy?

    • +1

depends if you want fitness band or an actual watch

      • Miband 4 has all functions that this one has and more. The only thing this has is a bigger screen but IPS rather than OLED. It's a bit of stretch to call this smart watch because:
        No always on display.
Can't make call or receive call.
        No NFC.
        Can't install App or music.

What is it to separate this from a smart band except for the bigger display? Just form factor?

Not blasting deal, but just curious.

        • +1

Mainly form factor. I personally prefer to wear a 'watch' over a band. I like both, that's just my preference. To have those other features mentioned means increasing the price by a large margin, so it's a small price to pay for someone who isn't sure if they really want one or not, and if they like it and are really missing those features, can then be sure that spending the extra money on a more expensive smart watch won't turn out to be a waste of money.

But yeah, I couldn't make a real comparison to the miband 4 as I mentioned earlier. I've just been looking up budget smart watches, found this one and it was on sale, so shared the deal. If it's well received then good, if not, I'm not fussed.

    • As tonyjzx said, this is an actual watch vs a smartband. I'm not sure of all the features of the Miband 4 to make a proper comparison with pros and cons - but it seems it would come down to preference of a watch vs band.

  • Umdigi and Youtube Reviews should not be mentioned in a positive light at all. They are known to pay people for reviews, to the point where it is almost embarrassing.

  • Can get it delivered next week for an extra ~$12 on the umidigi-au-official eBay store. For anyone out there not wanting to wait 21-40 days.

I did see this after posting, and I think for the sake of not having to wait 6 weeks… $12 is a fair price to pay. Thank you!

    • Does the fact that it's now $47 bring another smartwatch of similar value into consideration? From my limited research, this one would still be my pick.

    • I think that is the way to go with Aliexpress warranty sucks
