      Whats your noise tolerance for sleeping?

      For example, i live near the trainline; so long as its quieter than a train, ill be fine.

      My best mate falls asleep to action movies (marvel) nearly every night.

      What do you consider too noisy?

    The pedestal fan would be far too big and noisy for a home environment. Okay for a large garage or workshop. I'd hate it in my house.

      i put the big arlec industrial fan from bunnings in my house …its awesome for moving the air through the house LOUD but awesome when you need to move the heat out

    Is this a decent step down in airflow from the previous industrial-like pedestal fan from SCA? Bit cheaper, but much smaller diameter..

      Yeah the lowest setting is louder than the highest setting on a normal fan.

    Most of the industrial fans are 30" or 75cm this fan must be quite small for an industrial fan

    Got to laugh at the one bad review, 1 star and returned it because it didn't have instructions. It's sad if you can't put one of these together without instructions.
