expired ArtsCow 20x16 Inch Stretched Canvas 2 for USD39.99 with Free Shipping
This was posted 1 year 8 months 27 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
It seems like a good deal as I've previously only seen 16x14 inch canvases sold on artscow. Their shipping has always been fast for me and the canvases I've received good quality.

considering what it is gonna cost me to get canvas from bali stretched I would say this is a great deal. I have been looking around and the frames to stretch prints yourself at this size are this price, or more
if anyone finds the frames cheap in Perth, please let me know :)
+4 votesyeah I learnt how hideously expensive it was to have canvas stretched locally which I purchased during my SE Asia travels.. over 5 times the original cost of the artwork.. I tried to find custom stretcher bars to DIY but found those to be quite expensive as well, even when offered discount art student prices through art supplier.. in the end I spotted reject shop were doing a clearance on certain sizes of blank mounted canvas which were similar to the sizes I need. I bought those, took off the blank canvas, cut the frames down to size, reinforced the joints and gallery wrap "mounted" my canvas using online tutorials and youtube.. i was impressed with the finish and everyone at home thought I had got it done at the store. Total cost for 3 canvas pieces was $20 and took half a saturday. once you do the first one, the others don't take very long.. the trick is in how you stretch and apply pressure while stapling/nailing the canvas to the back to make sure it stays taut without any sags in the front.. I should also note that I am a desk jockey and by no means a DIY pro of any sort and yet found this quite easy to do..
+1 voteawesome, thanks for the reply post, I'll just keep looking then. May even try to make my own if I can get the frame wood cheap enough
I got one guy who will make frames for $20.00 each but then they work out more expensive then buying these online complete. LOL, figures

derfel.cadarn on 30/08/2011 - 20:51 ¶I have ordered from these guys before and the quality is pretty decent. I also purchased coupons from Fabness and I'm going to be keen to see how these compare for the same price point!
medium_tight on 30/08/2011 - 22:10 ¶No fuss service, good quality, and it takes 2 weeks to Sydney. Very happy :)
