I'd recommend people to stock up on absorbic acid vitamin C - when the coronavirus bioweapon hits you'll want to consume large amounts of this antioxidant till the point where you want to take a shit. That'll expel the virus proteins.

      Citation needed. On multiple points.

    • Also get gastro stop and hydralite for the after effects

    • pretty sure that only cures cancer

      • Nah, only stupidity, but it never seems to work.

Berocca gives you back your B’B-bounce! Anyone remember that ad?

  • 🤢 🤮

  • Shame these are so overpriced in Aussie. Went to Lidl in Czech and their version was about $1 each.

  • How does Berocca compare to the Aldi knockoff?

    • +2

Exact same active ingredients from memory.

      • What's the name of the Aldi ones? I may try it out.

      • +1

Yeah same thing basically, but if you're fussy about the taste they're not quite as good

        • Yeah Aldi ones taste like crap.

I always enjoyed having berocca with my vodka redbulls at trance events

  • B vitamin complex tablet.
    almost the same thing..

  • I wouldn't take effervescent or chewable tablets containing vitamin C. It can lead to or worsen existing tooth sensitivity.

I bought a Berocca alternative at Woolworths and it gave me extreme tooth sensitivity. I've read before that Berocca itself (original flavour?) has a pH of 3.96, so maybe it's not as bad, but I won't take the risk anymore. Maybe I stupidly brushed my teeth within less than an hour of consuming it, but I don't think fruit has ever caused such a sudden extreme change (I think eating strawberries all day is among the worst).

Chewable vitamin C is probably among the worst thought out inventions to hit our shelves.

  • For those who are interested; Berocca contains the perfectly safe, manufactured by Monsanto, artificial sweetener - Aspartame (951).
