    I want to buy since it is a good price for a Aussie copy of a new console game.

    But im really hesitant about preordering games these days. IVe bought so much trash thats been hyped up over the last year.

    Well hopefully some reviews for dead island and warhammer come out before wed and thurs

    Edit edit Got throught. They are fixing the issue. The did mention they had about 30 PS3 copies. They also said the game would be sent on the friday so looks like we wont get the game until Monday :-(

    My gorgeous wife has just informed me she has called BigW and ordered it over the phone as they were aware of the issue :)

      You can order via the customer service number, 1800 251 311, for the same price and free shipping. Be prepared for a 30 minute hold time with horrible music though.

      I did ask them to fix the issue but they didn't sound that interested, I'd phone order if you're really wanting this deal!

    Managed to order 2 copies after the crash at 6am and the wrong item then the no item. My 3G dropped out at work so had to get my LAN buddy to continue with the mission. I was hoping to play co-op LAN this weekend. Thought they would post so that it would arrive friday but guess not.

    I was umming and arring about space marine tomorrow but now it's more umm than arr.

    30 copies for a new release at $30 off??? A couple of hundred copies if they are serious!!!

    Well, as a follow up, my wife called BigW today as we hadn't received a confirmation email but they had taken the money from our credit card.

    She was informed that they don't have any stock (Dead Island Xbox360) and won't be getting any until October but we could keep our order with them and they would ship to us when it was available. Understandably she cancelled the order.

    I think a sternly worded letter sent to BigW is in order!

    Bad news - I just called Big W to follow up on my preorder of dead island (as I'd been charged but received no email confirmation). They told me they have no stock and won't be reordering until "sometime in October". On asking why I was charged and my order taken when the item was out of stock they tell me it's a bug with the website and that they would have called to tell me in a week or so. I could replace my order if I still wanted it at the same price (to be received at some unknown date after mid October).

    Would be very interested to know whether this happens to anyone else, I suspect they were selling them without having any stock to start with, considering I phoned through an order before the website was fixed! Unbelievable.

    they rang me just today aswell in regards to dead island .. i was told october 3rd they were going to restock, and if i still wanted the game that it will be at the $58 price . They told me that they cancelled my order and are going to refund me the money i spent within the next 48 hours.

    I asked them if i could get some goodwill and maybe get the same price in the store but they told me they couldn't but they gave me a 10dollar off code for my next online purchase.

    But i really want the game so im gonna ring them back and demand them to let me purchase the game at that price in store… will let you know how i go.

      Same deal with me… was told it was Oct 2-3 as well but it wont show up as $58 but I need to use the same email when I order.

      What did you say to get the $10 code? Such a skillful bargain hunter! :D

      I also got a phone call from them the other day telling me that they had no stock after I had called them and ordered a copy of Dead Island over the phone.

      They organised a refund and that has now gone through.

      But the following day I got an email telling me that it has been shipped… I have not seen anything in the mail at all, but that is a little strange.

    My credit card was refunded the other day, but low and behold, my wife has just texted me with a photo of the game which arrived today.

    BigW really need to review their processes!
