Is it worth getting just for the battery and charger? I don't need another blower (have a Ryobi) but want to get in to the Ozito ecosystem. Probably better off waiting for the 4ah ones to match Aldi?

Battery is only 1.5Ah and the charger is the now very discontinued Plugpack type so no, not worth it purely to get a battery & charger IMO. Wait for another ALDI price match on the 4Ah for sure.

Got this for $27 as well as the whipper snipper in a combo from Bunnings..

    Not worth $69.

Thanks for posting the bargain :)

      • It was more of a corded edge trimmer. You weren't missing out on much! Could almost stop it with your hands it was that weak. (I had the same model in a different skin that I got cheap)

      • I got the bargain from here.

        • wasn’t that a corded tool deal?

      Not worth $69.

      But your username says otherwise!

    Just use a broom
    Please

    • No
      Thankyou

    • Why
      Please

    • Why use a broom when you can just breathe hard.

  • Cant see any stock left, anywhere..

  • For those who cannot pickup the one listed, bunnings has another one for $89.

Specs wise looks exactly the same:

Note: Not part of the Ozito Power X Change ecosystem

      • Are you sure? When i clicked on link the photos appear to show Power X Change logo on blower and the following text is included:
The Power To Choose: With Ozito Power X Change, you have the power to choose!
Sounds like part of Power X Change range to me…
However not worth if just buying for battery and charger.

  • The battery lasts 10min? That does not seem long enough. Am I wrong?

I got this with a hedge trimmer for about $59 on local clearance at my Bunnings - may have been the last one. The blower is pretty average, but will be useful for a handful of things, like blowing shit out of hard to reach corner of the garage. If I had a lot to blow, would definitely get something better, but I took it as a reasonable opportunity to get an Ozito battery for when they price match Aldi on some OK gear.

    • I have seen ppl talking about price match Ozito battery with ALDI, don't really get it, does ALDI sell Ozito? Oh the battery can be used with ALDI's gear too? Thanks

ALDI sells their own 'Xfinity' branded stuff every few months and when they do Bunnings reduces their Ozito Power-X-Change equivalents including batteries.

    • I find it's quite good. Leaves dirt and grass no dramas. At full charge blows smallish sticks

  • Have the Ozito brushless jet blower 2 x 18v, very happy with it. Probably 75% power of a petrol blower but the convenience and hassle free nature more than makes up for it. It’s a discontinued model but there’s still stock of both skin and kit around, at least in Sydney anyway.

    • didn't know it was discontinued! How heavy is it? Easily wieldable with one hand?

      • It’s heavier with 2 batteries and I’m not a big so I wield it by holding it down by my side and turning my body left and right as opposed to waving my arm left and right if that makes sense.

  • Just got the ultimate garden care kit, far better value and you get everything you need. Coupled with the cordless 6 piece kit from last year and I am set.

  • waiting on deals on the jet blower…

Jet blower on clearance at Mentone Vic for just $11 more.

    • The one you bought is skin only (No Battery/Charger).

The one linked by OP is a Kit, which includes the blower, 1.5ah battery & charger.

      • Yep but a lot of people are already in the Ozito X ecosystem and don't need more batteries.

    • Good buy and good price :)

  • Thanks OP. Bought one from Box Hill VIC. Plenty of stock.

  • 1.5ah battery. Blower will flatten the battery in 25 seconds

    • You got a dud. 1.5Ahr flattens this in 12mins. 3.0Ahr lasts over 20mins with continuous use.

Coming from large petrol blower I'm surprised at well this works. Perfect for paving, decking, tennis court and driveway. Not so good across long grass.

  • Seems to run at a higher speed with a 4.0Ah battery vs a freshly charged 1.5Ah. Good for getting in amongst the stuff in the garage/garden furniture etc
