I was dissapointed with the game. It just got repetitive at the middle to the end, and the overall graphics seems a couple generation benhind. Game defeinitely was not meant for me.

Has scores of 89/100 & 8.5 (Users) on Metacritic, so it's doing something right.

    • It just got repetitive at the middle to the end

There are multiple ways to play the game; you can even change your play style mid-way, to a fair extent.

The overall graphics seems a couple generation benhind.

I hope you didn't say that without graphics maxed out… If you have a high-end system, try this for more win.

Game defeinitely was not meant for me.

      Fair enough.

The link you posted are HD texture mods for the original Deus Ex (2000), not Human Revolution (2011).

  • EDIT THIS IS INCORRECT /EDIT About $37.50 delivered from The Hut or Zavvi.

EDIT Brain fart. Was looking at the wrong thing.

  • dumb question - do you need a steam account to play/activate this 'version'?

    • +2

It is a SteamWorks game, so Steam is mandatory.

    • +1

Yes. It's a Steamworks game so Steam is unavoidable.

      • Thanks guys. I don't mind Steam too much, at least it keeps things updated.

Good price. Think its $49 dollars instore at Gametraders this week - walkin for stock.$60 for the PS3/360. Yeah I think it got boring in the middle to - with minimal replay value.

    • +1

"minimal replay value" - lol. So many different ways to play the game…

  • This game needs mods, badly. The original Deus Ex had quite a pretty big mod community behind it, unfortunately this game looks a bit more "closed-source" since it doesn't run the Unreal engine…
