I was driving home and saw the price, i couldn't believe it, cant really remember when I saw it last time this low, hope it helps someone.

Any saving you might have had with that 10c saving was made back Coles by your $20 spend in store. Not sure abt the other two discounted you mentioned, but if you can get them by doing your normal shop then great. As a general rule, if you had to do anything different they've made their profit off you already!
Supporting your local independent or Metro in this case when they are cheaper is good for us consumers.

Doesn't one have to make a ~ $5 purchase at Metro stations to effect the better price of fuel?
I seem to remember being somewhat 'taken in' by the posted price only to have to pay a higher price as was indicated if in somewhat smaller print underneath the prices on the signs.
This happened to me many years ago and put me off of going into Metro stations. Perhaps things have changed…?No need to make any kind of purchase for this price. This price is written on the machine itself also, so what it says there that's what it is.

Anyone know where to buy cheap diesel? Locations across eastern side of Australia? Best app that can pinpoint places?
In NSW, the official app is fuelcheck. Works on all fuel types, not just diesel. The servos have to update their prices to this database by law, I believe. This app is not crowd sourced so it has been quite accurate in my experience.
Shell Coles Express Waterloo is pretty consistent with being near the cheapest around the CBD. Currently 119.9. With 10c/L off Flybuys app, 10c/L off with $20 in-petrol store purchase and 4c/L Coles receipt voucher makes it 95.9/L. Worth it if you're filling up 150+L tank in one go.
