  • again????

    • Regarding some Delivery concern:
This item will be started to be dispatched 12th Sept by Express from Hong Kong (as listed in the listing). It will take 2-3 working day for major city and no more than 5 working days Australia wide unless custom delay.
And we expected all order will be dispatched on 14th Sept (1 day after the deal closed).

      • to mod: would you please help to put above message to the original post, that will help ozbargainer to solve the delivery concern on this deal.
      • where did you get the information regarding delivery and that it wont be dispatched until the 14th of sept?

  • I think groupbuy is not allowed here, am I correct?

    • -3

Yeah thats right.. this is OZbargain

      • +2

The others were taken down bcoz it was not yet active, it is now…

      • +4

This offer (joint between eBay and ShoppingSquare/Apus) has been posted 3 times previously but with eBay posting rules, Group Buy offer must be active.

    • +1

      group buy is allowed iirc
search scoopon, and all sort of deal always available…if it's a bargain!

  • +2

    apusauction

    ShoppingSquare eh? :P
I wonder how many months it'll take for people to receive it this time.

    • +1

Is Apusauction SS ? OMG if only i knew, hate those guys…

  • +1

    dupe dupe dupe

  • Horrible server worst delivery time and not good

  • +2

Just in case anyone is blind I'll repeat this here.

IMPORTED stock. Warranty is through APUSAUCTION, not samsung.

If youre happy with that, then fine. Just read carefully.

  • +1

very bad service through Apus/shopping square
I canceled the $525(incl shipping) deal last time
and I would not buy from them again!

    comparing the previous deal,
this deal is a little bit better for 2yrs warranty
but still…warranty not through Samsung, and bad service you'll get!!
so in the end you might loss in the long run…

when iPhone5 is close, and near end of the year(with new phones released)
this model is getting outdated soon! :P

    • +8

how? hardware wise i dont think iphone 5 will be alot better than this.

      • +1

I even dont think it would be any bettet in terms of hardware. As it always is.

    • +1

I think he might means the next release of Android phones, maybe some with those quad core chipsets that the Amazon tablet is supposed to have.

    • It's not getting outdated by the iphone5.. At most the iphone5 will have comparable hardware.

On the otherhand, there will be faster droids coming out in late Q4, like the nexus prime, Xiomi etc with 1.5GHz dual core.

      • U meant Xiaomi from mainland China?

      • Surely XIOMI not coming to Australia, although the hands on video seems to convey that there is some lag.

But for $300 you can't complain

  • 3 of a kind!

  • +3

    Shoppingsquare

    • 125 who supposedly bought this didn't know that… lol

    • SS!! and S2!!!!!

    • +1

Auto-neg from me too. Horrible service.

  • Not trying to neg this deal, in fact good price compare to Austrlaian stock. Would like to know many people actually care about purchasing AU stock or non AU stock for a small price difference? Some genuine feedback would be a great contribution to our future deals. Feel free to leave feedbacks here or http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/52367.

    • +2

it all comes to warranty? if you provide same kind of warranty support as Australian Stock, I wouldn't and haven't minded buying OS stock

      • Warranty for the Non Au stock will be backup by seller only.

        • as long as the warranty support is good ie I have a problem with non-au phone, send it back to you guys to get fixed, it should take like 2 months to get it fixed nor should the warranty have more conditions that the standard samsung warranty.

    • +2

Personally I'm fine with purchasing non-Australian stock as long as it's fairly cheaper. The stuff I do voids warranty anyway. I'm sure many others will agree with me >.<

    • +3

      small price difference

Yeah but we're talking about $100 difference here. If it was $50 or something, I'd buy it with Australian warranty too. Others may think it's not so much however.

      • Is the warranty backup by Samsung better ( For TVs, its not that good)?
If not, its better to by from SS and get it repaired from them.

    • I'd pay $630 or so for australian stock.

    • It all comes down to how you handle problems. Of course people dont care where it came from when it works fine and there is never an issue.

But what counts is how you handle(speed and quality of service) problems/warranty.

  • +1

Nothing personal against the OP. sorry I accidentally neg this but anything from shopping square/Apus, my personal opinion is stay away it is not worth any savings!
I swore from my last experience with them that I will NEVER EVER buy anything from them again no matter what the price is. You just need to research the feedbacks on any sites and you will see why many others have the goosebumps from mentioning the name……shhhh it is like saying Voldemort's name out loud if you are a character in HP!

    • None taken ! ;)
I didn't know Apus had a hidden identity…, I love the red colour of the negs by the way, it gets more people to look at all the fuzz… lol :P

      • +1

no, its there for years. Their Online ebay store name is APIS, you can see that in their item pictures. I have bought a few memory cards from them and they reached quick and are running good. Dont know about the mobiles.

  • +2

if u buy 1 now.. might get it before 2012?

    • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • -1

    1) It is ShoppingSquare
    2) It is an illegal import
    3) False item location in eBay listing
    4) Tax evasion
    5) Illegal and unsafe AU plug adapter included

    • +5

      1) Yep.
      2) Nothing illegal about a grey import.
      3) You don't know that yet.
      4) Didn't 2 already cover this accusation?
      5) How is illegal or unsafe? :\

    • +2

again A3 I'm pretty sure everyone knows it is grey imports and lets not bring A-tick and chargers blowing up into the picture. Why must you go on every phone related thread and discuss this. I was surprised though that the A-tick branding didn't come up.
@Sturmeh don't get sucked in to his argument. Have a look at his whirlpool history and go figure

  • just checked the link, it's 12pm 08/Sep/11 and only 399 out of 500 sold!!!

LOL!!!!!!!! this is group-buy, only 399 on a popular web site?

now you know how bad reputation they were!!!
